   after a few times of not being accepted for a further loan, found myself with no car refused it, however i got accepted for finance? Which was a father greater amount, i have never missed my monthly payments, then fast forward again to apply and be rejected for a lower amount again, ive lost all help and faith, still cant access my savings as the payment hasnt cleared yet, however was paid 5 days ago, thats my money and countiniously cant access it, i will when i get the chance taking all money out and closing account, rude staff on phone a few times also

   I have to be honest I have had no experience of this credit union that has been easy or stress free nor is it helpful for anyone who has benefits paid in here as it seems like the balances on accounts are updated in office hours , App is pointless no different to website. I don’t recommend this credit union.

   Chelsea Gardner Review- I have been with Thistle since last year and find it an amazing way to save up my spare cash. The App means its very easy to withdraw at and point, with a speedy transfer turnaround! The staff have always been friendly and kind and i got my sister & mum to join due to my positive experience.

   Thistle has helped me and my family save for Christmas throughout the year, helping to reduce financial stress in January. I've also been able to access loans with lower interest rates which have been easier to pay off than those from traditional banks and payday lenders. Great service and would highly recommend.

   An absolute joke. Went in this morning to Blantyre branch to close my account. I was told I couldn't withdraw more than £1000 at a time, dispite them admitting they had the funds. Told me u couldn't withdraw more of the account for 96 hours. An disgusting service, if I'd been basically wanting money out I'd see the point, but want to close the account. I now have to make two trips to both credit union and the bank. If your thinking on opening an account, don't bother, their service is an absolute disgrace.

   Excellent service always with a smile, applying for a loan is made so easy and u don't feel like you are under the microscope like other credit unions and you are not made to feel that it's there money you are taking, the lady who always deals with the loans is so very helpful and I love travelling to Blantyre from ek to use this fabulous run service. My daughter has been with this credit union since primary and I joined about 6 months ago, top class service thank you Ruth Moore & Rachel Girvan
