   After a bit of a struggle with my Labradoodle Milo getting groomed ( he absolutely hates it), I used spoke to the staff about my worries, they totally reassured me. He was booked in and groomed, he came out wagging his wee tail and looking amazing. His coat and cut (handstrip) are immaculate. I will be using Underdog Pets from now on! If they will have him back!

   Only place I feel happy to take my dog to get groomed. Amazing and friendly staff, so much care is taken with your dog. We mentioned our dog had a recent injury and they were very reassuring and looked after her perfectly. The cut was very professional - Can’t recommend enough!

   We have been going here for years with our two Russian Black Terriers. The staff are all fantastic and Heather in particular does an amazing job and bonds so well with all her furry clients. They also have a Self Service Dog Wash. Highly recommended, they also have a lovely pet shop selling accessories, toys, food etc.

   My Jet looks amazing! They treated him with care and made sure it was as stress free as possible, although knowing Jet I can guess he made it a little more stressful haha! Very nice staff, very nice store, amazing cutting skills and I'm a happy doggo daddy! Love, Cumbernauld Doggy Club x

   Underdog Pets have been fantastic, can’t recommend them enough. We had a really bad experience with another local groomers whereby they told us that our puppy was ungroomable, we were heartbroken. We enquired with Underdog pets and they were so helpful took our dog Maisie in at a quieter time, spent extra time with her and provided us with feedback, support and tips on what to work on at home. We have now had 3 successful full grooms and Maisie continues to grow in confidence with being groomed, Maisie is always excited visiting their well stocked shop/grooming salon and loves seeing the staff. Underdog Pets continue to be amazing, supportive and really do put our dog Maisie’s welfare and interest first. Couldn’t be happier with the outcome we have had.

   This was Alfie's first experience of being groomed. Staff said he did great. He came out relaxed, clean and looking lovely. Staff were very complimentary about how he coped in a new environment. I will be back. Thank you everyone.

   Handed dog over, all seemed fine. Told me 1.5 hours. 2.5 hours later, i called chasing them up. They were calling a "dead line". Fine, go to pick him up, charge £10 more than quote, asked why and they told me the person who gave me the quote doesn't know how to quote dogs! Got him home, cut a disaster, hair on his faceleft untouched, choppy lines all over and privates all left long aswell as the back of his legs. Total mess. I thought fine won't go back. Then i find the biggest scab on his side! Not a mention when i pick him up and now makes sense why they didn't call, especially as my number was on his collar... they were waiting for the bleeding to stop and clean him up clearly! Total disgrace of a place and the attitude of groomer has a lot to be desired. Nearly £50 for a small dog and i need to get him groomed again, obviously they won't lay a hand on my dog again! Hope he's not traumatized with next groomer! Disgusting place! Part 2 in response to "owner": Considering Bear walked into your shop with not a spot on him and walked out with a reasonable sized scab, I would say my previous review was entirely accurate. At no point did I say he was abused you fool! I want to make clear that if it had been mentioned at the time, all of this could have been avoided as accidents happen! If I had thought for a second, by dog was abused, writing a review would not have been my first port of call! The fact my number was on his collar is clearly lost on you! This would have been obvious to the person who put his collar back on. So not only did you take my number down wrong, you clearly didn’t listen to me when I clearly explain what breed he is and even what weight he was! £46 is a ridiculous amount to be charged, especially as the haircut looked as though it had been done by a toddler (I too have pictures that shows this!) Sounds as though your staff are lying to you and that was exactly what I was told! At no point talking to you or anyone before the haircut, did someone say that it was an estimate, if I had been told it could be £45, I would have gone elsewhere! I infact did tell your “groomer” I wanted him short all over and even showed her a picture of a previous groom, to which she replied “oh that is short”. Considering the attitude of the groomer, I had no confidence my concerns would have been taken seriously and your response has only confirmed it. I hope this is a learning curve for you all or at least start charging appropriately for shoddy work!

   I've only ever used the self-service wash for Yogi but it is very convenient. Everything you need is included in the price and there is no need for booking. Also a great selection of treats for a well-behaved dog.
