Not bad although when purchasing fish i had 2 staff members contradict each other with quantity of males to femals per tank plus size of tank. Also overpriced compared to independently owned pet stores.

Would give no stars if I could. Bought a baby hamster from here. 2 weeks later it has died. Ill from the start and a fortune on vet visits. I have a very sad 8 year old. I would not recommend this pet store and will not be back. Terrible experience!!!!

Lots of pet stuff in a shopping estate but like all of their stores they can be rather expensive. At least they now have Chuckit dog balls (their favourite) and at a decent price much the same as Amazon.

This vet practice have a wonderful caring attitude. They will help any way they can. Their lift was out and I struggled with my dog and the stairs on the way up. On seeing my dirtressed dog, the girls behind the counter carried my dog back down for me. We're not talking about a small dog here Mr bojangles is a 21 kilo Staffordshire bull terrier with a back injury. They were so kind to him.

Not at all reactive dog friendly. Brought in my rescue collie because why shouldn't she be able to have a nice time and pick out her own toy like other dogs. She is leash reactive. She only ever barks and has never hurt another dog. However, the employees gave us some judgy looks at her barking. other customers were very lovely however and made me feel less isolated. She's now happily running around the park off leash, none the wiser but I rushed out the shop with her new toy without even stopping to look for others because of the judgement.

First off, the staff here are friendly, helpful and pleasant, so they are 5 stars all-round. The issue is the welfare of the animals for sale. We bought 2 baby rabbits from here over 4 years ago and 1 of them developed severe sawdust allergies, which were an issue for her entire, short life. We then bought 2 rescue rabbits from here over a month ago. They were over 3 years of age, unvaccinated and they hadn't been neutered. They were clearly a case of neglect, as they had never been seen by a Vet, when with the original owners nor when taken in by the charity, or passed to Pets at Home. We got them vaccinated, as quickly as we could. Upon being vaccinated it was noticed 1 of them had issues with her teeth, so they would need to be x-rayed when we had them sedated to be spayed, however Pets at Home should have noticed this and dealt with it when they first took them in back in October 2023. We took them to be spayed today and 1 was successfully spayed, but the 1 with the dental issues was alot worse than suspected. Now we've had them for 6 weeks and Pets at Home had them since October and, whatever charity they were given in to, had them before that. Not once in that time had this wee rabbit been checked by a Vet, because had they been so, the issue could have been resolved much earlier. For want of a better word, Pets at Home have sold defective bunnies that were already neglected, but remained so when they had them. Nobody wanted them when in the store and they found out they hadn't been neutered or vaccinated and were an older bonded pair. I do not understand why Pets at Home, as an entity, failed to check them over when they first took them in. This particular store has Vets for Pets attached, but surely Pets at Home have their own Vet? It strikes me that both this branch and Pets at Home as a company, are merely concerned with profit and not animal welfare, despite how much they like to appear otherwise.

Exellent staff great products but should really aspire for more community tanks as I have fish that get on perfect with each other. Crabs loaches and even a turtle in one Tank he does bother the fish tho.

Went in yesterday to browse and the wife decided she wanted to take home 4 baby girl Rats. The young lady that served us who I unfortunately didn’t get the name of was very helpful and sweet she knew her stuff and had a genuine love for the animals and their welfare, made sure we knew what we were doing and even helped us to the car the with the cage. If she reads this she will know who she is and I want to once again thank her for all of her help.

I visited this shop,I was looking for aquarium accessories. Staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Great selection of cold and warm water fish, rabbits, hamsters and the like. They have everything a pet owner might need, including live food for some reptiles etc. Even has a Vet on the premises. Three hours free parking available, lots of other shops in the vicinity. A one stop shop.
