Been using Abbey vets Paisley branch since I adopted all of my cats, staff are helpful and friendly and the practice is cleaned and well maintained. Would definatley recommend them For your pets need
Joined Abbey Vets a year ago now as a first time dog owner. Since then, I have made FULL use of the services they offer, including out of hours! Everything from sock ingestion to a hip dysplasia diagnosis, the vets, nurses and front of house staff have always been extremely supportive, patient and empathetic to a very stressed and anxious dog owner like myself. Treatments and advice has always been well explained and any questions I’ve had have been answered alongside lots of reassurance. Vets Andrew, Mark and Caitlin deserve a special mention, who have all treated my crazy pup and have made every visit as stress free as possible. I feel confident having Abbey Vets responsible for the care my pup will receive for his lifelong condition. Also grateful to have had Scott processing the insurance claims for my pup’s treatment making sure I always receive my money back quickly and hassle free!
My dog was really stressed as he is not comfortable with the vet’s this time it was another vet that did not know him and I was not impressed with her with my dog and she seemed a bit nervous maybe she was not experienced with staffys as asked if he was a cross breed so obviously didn’t read his record before attending to him. Her comment was he’s quite big for a staffy and myself and my son said his parents were big and she said could be less overweight even though he was not weighed and unable to do general health check due to his stress.
We have been with Abbey Vets for 4 years now with our dog. We find them really helpful and great with our dog. A huge benefit is their out of hours service which is available 7 days a week. We have had to use it and either been seen by a vet or given advice over the phone. I would highly recommend Abbey Vets to anyone.
I owe everything to the team at Abbey Vet Group. My little Nellie became very unwell and required urgent surgery in order to save her life, Camilla performed this and I cannot thank her enough. It was a difficult recovery but the team helped us through it and had us equipped with everything we needed to ensure she made it through. I had to call in and attend a few post op checks and every vet, nurse, and receptionist was extremely welcoming and they didn’t just care for Nellie, they helped me too. I wish I could list everyone’s names but I think we met every employee these past few weeks! A special shoutout to Caitlin who we woke up a few times when she was on call, the on call service is absolutely fantastic. To anyone who is considering registering their beloved animal, please go to Abbey Vet Group as you won’t regret it. Nellie has recovered amazingly. She is her little menace self again, cone free, eating plenty, and loving her new home! I cannot thank you all enough for everything you did for us. You are all truly angels ❤️

All the staff at Abbey vets are just superb. Genuinely caring they not only look after your pet, they also look after you as a pet parent, nothing is too much trouble & no question or concern goes unanswered. I’ve been a client of the practice for circa 20 years (sadly with a few pets we’ve had to say goodbye to over that period) I wouldn’t trust my fur baby with any other vet practice.
Unfortunately our 15 year old dog was riddled with cancer and we decided to have her put to sleep. Abbey vets could honestly not have been more compassionate. The entire experience was really very beautiful,they made sure our wee Missy was sedated and comfy,she had everything she needed and went off to sleep surrounded by love. Our vet was named Rory,he was absolutely lovely and could not have done enough for us. Thankyou so much Abbey vets
Superb staff. Reception'- all are simply delightful,helpful,charming,compassionate,considerate and caring. This is a vets that although very busy makes you feel part of their veterinary family. They were wonderful when I very sadly lost my cat Sheby as I was heartbroken that was 2 years'ago.i now have a beautiful little boy lewis and since we got him at 8 weeks old he was immediately signed up to Abbey I am also deaf and they go out of there way to make things as easy as possible for me. The vets are of the same standard as described about reception.they are very competent and will do whatever they can to keep your pets safe and healthy.they explain all to you as they take you through the pets treatment for your appointment and as are veterinary nurses very caring towards your animal. I hugely recommend this vets .so if you need a vet give them a go as they are very very good
