We have been coming every weekend since buying our tourer i love thay you can choose your own pitch and the toilets and shower rooms are absolutely immaculate, the staff are so friendly its lovely. The park is well maintained and we have been enjoying it a lot.
Nice location even with the road noise, good walking for the dogs. Standard caravan and Motorhome Club Site well looked after by friendly wardens.
Great location for a stop over. We use this site every year on our way to the North and West of Scotland. In our opinion, it's one of the cleanest sites, always mowed and toilet blocks are always spotlessly clean. Wardens are extremely pleasant, especially Steve, who has made a point of conversing with us on our last 2 visits. It is by busy roads, but we slept well and didn't find noise an issue. We will definitely use next year when returning to Scotland. Thanks you Strathclyde Country Park.
Lovely site, pre booked fast track booking in, unfortunately this failed to read my registration and so it took longer. I suggest that as the camera is set at an angle a clear stopping point needs to be found and marked out to prevent this from happening in the future it couldn’t recognise H it read it as 11
The location is good for a stopover, especially when travelling from south to north etc. the site is very close to the motorway (very convenient) but also very noisy, although didn’t bother us. Automatic check in is a real bonus and the facilities were clean. Nice spacious pitches.
Great site with great facilities and a good dog walk on site. Right next to the lovely Strathclyde Country Park. Lovely friendly staff. Only downside is that, being very close to the motorway, there is quite a lot of road noise.
Heavy rain and part flooded. Good size pitches and easy access off M74. Great dog walk she thought she was in the woods. A lot of road noise
Great site with large pitches. Clean and spacious toilets and shower facilities. Plenty of hot water. Other facilities available for the camper and tourers. Dogs allowed. Friendly reception staff. Just make sure you put the exact post code in. Nearby roads noise but didn't find it a problem.
Well kept,clean Site. Rather loud due to nearby Main Road. Rather expensive if you are a "None Member"!. Don't expect to go ever again. £43 is OTT
Very level pitches great clean facilities obviously an extremely well run campground. There is a lovely Loch only a 10 minute walk away. It’s an hour and half to circumnavigate
