“We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue than Eden Leisure Village. Set in a beautiful woodland setting, it felt peaceful, intimate, and incredibly special from the moment we arrived. The surroundings created the perfect atmosphere for our day and so many of our guests commented on how stunning the venue was. The owners Des and Janet were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, nothing was ever too much trouble, and they genuinely cared about giving us the best possible day. Their calm, organised approach and great working relationship with our other suppliers made the whole experience completely stress-free.”
“A last-minute one night stay was accommodated in the evening, and what a pleasant surprise on arrival. A very friendly greeting from the owner. The site is well presented with lovely bathrooms and amenities. I was so pleased to be pitched at the foot of an iron age fort! Beautiful British bluebells were starting to bloom, and I slept soundly. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.”
“Amazing stay really clean 6 star plus Resort. Very welcoming prosecco waiting for us in lodge. Hot tubs in all lodges sparkling clean. Had food at the bistro try the fish n chips delicious. Will definitely recommend and be back soon.”
“We have used Ingliston for many occasions, including our wedding in 2022! We have stayed in the lodges and the hotel, and eat at the restaurant often! It’s a beautiful place in a quiet area, and at Christmas their lights are amazing! Highly recommend for any events, well organised, and friendly helpful staff.”
“We had an absolutely amazing stay here. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place is well taken care of. The facilities were spotless – bathrooms, showers, and common areas were cleaned regularly and kept in pristine condition, which made a huge difference in our comfort. The campsite itself is beautifully laid out, with spacious pitches, well-marked paths, and stunning views of the surrounding nature. Staff were friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about making guests feel welcome. It’s a short walk to the loch and into town for drinks and food We especially appreciated the little touches like the pegs being painted so you know what type of pitch you need to be on and the pre arrival email with instructions on where to pitch along with the AMPR barriers. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with top-notch amenities, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, scenic, and relaxing”
“Can’t recommend Reservoir Dog Walks highly enough!! 5* rating ⭐️ Stephen is professional, reliable, very knowledgeable and it’s clear to see the dogs love him too. He is very particular about ensuring the dogs are placed in the best suited group so as to maximise the enjoyment for all the dogs. I’ve also had the pleasure of joining the pack walks on several occasions and it is clear to see how much respect there is between the dogs and Stephen. His experience shines through and the dogs are always having a great time. It’s an added bonus to also receive amazing photos of the dogs enjoying themselves!!”
“We visited this gorgeous campground in October during the school holidays. The staff were so helpful and the scenery is absolutely stunning. So glad we stayed here. Clean toilets and showers, waste disposal etc.”
“Nice wee place for a wee break. Kids have club and swimming pool, pub and food very nice. Lovely helpful staff.”
“We are three friends doing the West Highland Way. Arrived in the evening and kindly welcomed by the hosts, two really friendly people. From the outside the campsite might look basic but as you come it's easy to notice that is very well kept and everything works good: clean and single baths and showers, lines for clothes and nice grass for tents. We ordered a pizza from a shop not far from there with fair prices. Overall, it is a super recommended place for everyone who loves camping!”
“Nice location even with the road noise, good walking for the dogs. Standard caravan and Motorhome Club Site well looked after by friendly wardens.”
“kids are well set up. we love road trip. end of the day we need relaxation for the next day trip. it is third caravan park through hoseason , everything is very clean and well maintained. Althoguh they given all items based on 4 people but trust me it is all good, swimming pool kids love it.”
“This is a fantastic location. It's a different story to Seaton Sands Haven site on the east coast. There are pros and cons to this park. It's within driving distance of Glasgow (1 hour) and Ayer is about 15-20 minutes. Glasgow isn't a touch on Edinburgh (which is a 2 hour drive) but there are plenty of natural and historical sights within driving distance. The beach really needs cleaning up. It's a receading coast line and there's a lot of debris falling away with it. It has the largest amusement entertainment of any haven park site we've been too. There's one entertainment lounge for grown ups and another for what I would call family entertainment. The plus side of this iz anyone of any age go visit both lounge. On the hole, Rage Tara is a fantastic site. My kids loved the entertainment and the 5 different choices of food vendors. We will be back.”
“Excellent location. All the staff were super friendly and very helpful., the location is excellent for Glasgow and access to the motorway to Edinburgh. It’s really quiet. Facilities for laundry etc. highly recommend”
“Excellent little family run site attached to World of Wings, no electirc hookup, no showers etc but we knew this before booking and are very happy with our stay, in fact it gave us the experience we wanted and it's a lovely quiet site. Toilets and WiFi available at the cabin cafe which is 2 mins walk from the camping field. Staying here with my 10 year old, his first camping experience outside of a family garden and he's loving it, we then spent the day at the bird centre. Nothing left us surprised when we arrived, we had a very friendly welcome and staff have been very friendly and accommodating of us. We had the choice of where to pitch our tents. I do recommend if you want a no thrills camping experience, which we did. The site is close by to lots of other activities too in surrounding area, with paintball next door and not too far to major roads and motorway.”
“Very nice little camp site situated not too far from Glasgow , Lovely and peaceful really enjoyed my stay here . Good amenities, and the lady at reception was Incredibly helpful and friendly”
