Arrived last night. First thing. Toilet block fantastic. Clean and a shower you don't have to press every two seconds. Close to many amenities, takeaways and restaurants. Not much interaction with staff as it is self check in. I recommend this place 100%. The free flowing shower without pressing a button every second is great. Well done guys. Sorry I thought I had given 5

Stayed for a long weekend with our touring caravan on a fully serviced pitch. My own fresh water hose was too short but was provided a longer hose by the campsite which was great appreciated. Great pitch. Lovely campsite. Games room was a great extra. Campsite is within walking distance of lomond shores and balloch with its restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing place and I will definitely return. We stayed in the pod 11 with two kids and they absolutely loved it. There's a bed in the living room which you pull out from a sofa but it was so flimsy that we decided to sleep on a sofa. You can also convert the dining area into a bed. The Pod has got everything you need to cook, bring salt and pepper and oils though. There's a games room in the park and playground for kids.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a fantastic stay at Lomond Woods Holiday Park! It’s brilliant that we can bring our 3 dogs with us. The park is very clean, the staff are friendly, check-in was fast, and the information sent before arrival was really helpful. Great location and a lovely atmosphere throughout. Check-in for the static caravans is from 4pm (not sure about the pods or camping), which is understandable as staff need time to clean and service them. The only downside is that if you book just 2 nights, you lose a good part of your first day. We enjoyed it so much we ended up adding an extra 2 nights because we didn’t want to leave! It would be a great improvement if there was an option for early check-in when availability allows — for example, an automatic message letting you know when your caravan is ready. My tip would be to book at least 3 nights to really make the most of your stay. Overall, an amazing place that we’ll definitely be returning to!

We had an absolutely amazing stay here. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place is well taken care of. The facilities were spotless – bathrooms, showers, and common areas were cleaned regularly and kept in pristine condition, which made a huge difference in our comfort. The campsite itself is beautifully laid out, with spacious pitches, well-marked paths, and stunning views of the surrounding nature. Staff were friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about making guests feel welcome. It’s a short walk to the loch and into town for drinks and food We especially appreciated the little touches like the pegs being painted so you know what type of pitch you need to be on and the pre arrival email with instructions on where to pitch along with the AMPR barriers. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with top-notch amenities, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, scenic, and relaxing

Thoroughly enjoyed our time here back in September. The site has a peasceful relaxing feeling. The town of Balloch and the Country park are within walking distance. Also much to my husbands annoyance there is a shopping outlet centre nearby also.

While the site is well laid out and maintained it has a problem with traffic noise that regularly wakes me up around 5am. If you're used to traffic noise you might not notice it. We've been using this site for about 8 years summer and winter, primarily for convenience of visiting family in the area and at first we had our main holiday here. However our stays are becoming shorter due to the rising prices outweighing the sacrifice of putting up with the traffic noise that has always deterred us from 'sitting out' to relax on site. As we did all the 'touristy' things in the early years it now works out cheaper to stay elsewhere and travel in to visit family. You might want to look farther afield if you don't need the convenience of this site's location, particularly if you're sensitive to traffic noise. It's functional location is second to none and it is a well run site offering options of static caravans, log cabins, pods and tourers. It's an attractive site with good access to the Loch Lomond area. Other sites within the immediate area either suffer the same traffic noise or are not as convenient for exploring the area. It's probably a good site for short stays but in my view it's now too expensive to compensate for the traffic noise for longer stays or if you simply want peace and quiet as opposed to visiting the local attractions.
