I have visited Cameron house numerous times now. It was a pretty lovely hotel. We decided to stay over at Christmas for a treat since we work in a small family business. The rooms were nice, clean, great view. The location is great, nice vibes at night. The negatives. I feel either the owners or the upper management screwed a-lot of the staff over on Christmas, very understaffed, the receptionist working Christmas day was obviously overwhelmed, she did a great job for what she had. The staff at night were pretty chill. We parked our car and thought it was valet parking, apparently not anymore as it wasn’t moved from the night before, i would have happily just parked myself if they said so. The dinner we got was pretty good actually 4/5. There was also entertainment, the magician guy was pretty awesome with his card tricks and the coin trick. Negatives. The hotel allows dogs, I’m sorry it is a 5 star hotel, theres dogs sitting on couches, barking, it’s unhygienic. The service was not 5 star, again the staff were great, but they’ve clearly been shafted by how understaffed they are. Also, The carpets in the hotel are really dirty and blotchy. Room service on Christmas day Only options were cheese sandwiches and cold drinks… for a 5 star hotel, i have had better in the holiday inn. Cameron house seriously needs to up its game, i would say it’s nearly 5 it’s 4.5 in all honesty. I was seriously disappointed for the money we spent it falls behind Gleneagles by a long way :/.

Some areas, like the carpets and windows, were noticeably dirty, and the dΓ©cor feels a bit worn. They allow dogs everywhere, why? The rooms are nice and comfortable, the TVs are good, and streaming is easy. However, there was a noticeable stain on the couch in the room, which was off-putting, and there were also marks on the wall. There was no toothpaste provided with the toiletries, which was unexpected. The minibar in the room was completely empty, with no drinks or snacks available. Room service was limited β€” at night the only options were cheese or salmon sandwiches. I’d say this feels more like a 4.5-star hotel rather than a full 5-star.

This place is extremely fancy, kid friendly, and majestic. The service is absolutely great, because when I got to the hotel ready for my room 3 hours before it was supposed to be ready, and they literally apologized for the room not being ready. The location could use some work, but it has stunning views once you get there. The rooms are very nice, and they supply you with cool stuff such as hidden bunk rooms with tv and stunning views of Loch Lomond. This place is amazing. Side note- they play bagpipes in the grass area in front of the hotel. 6767676767676767

Just returned from a 2 night stay , Cameron House stands at the tranquil Loch Lomond shores with spectacular views , such a beautiful place such a wonderful warm welcome by all the staff . Food was fabulous , LOMA by Graeme Cheevers was a gastronomic delight. Cameron House Spa was relaxation at its finest , well done to each and every member of staff working you are a credit to the running of this elegant hotel , a place that lets you slow down, relax, in nature’s beauty , I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. Great staff, great food, great ambience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cameron House on Loch Lomond, Scotland Cameron House was an exceptional stay from start to finish. Valet parking was effortless, and the concierge made handling our luggage incredibly easy. Jennah at the front desk was an absolute pleasure to speak with β€” warm, welcoming, and truly helpful. The breakfast area accommodated many guests comfortably and offered a wide variety of options. Our room was amazing: spacious, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches. We especially loved the chocolate plate waiting for us on arrival and the warm towel holder. A beautiful property with outstanding service. Would highly recommend!

An amazing hotel in the most beautiful place on earth, in my opinion. The staff are very professional and attentive. All needs attended to quickly and efficiently. The food was first class. The room was beautiful. Loch Lomond still looked beautiful even though the weather was not the greatest. We had a wonderful time. Though not cheap to stay there, it was oh so worth it.

A wonderful place to stay. Set in absolutely idyllic surroundings, on a Loch of outstanding natural beauty, this hotel is something special. The staff are well trained and customer service is a priority. I believe this is more important than the physical building and surroundings, but fortunately you get both with Cameron House. The decor is tasteful and classic in style which I adore, but feels very regal and special and takes you away from everyday life for the time you are there. The food in the hotel restaurant was beautiful, perfectly fresh and delicious, and the afternoon tea in the bar/sitting area was great too. The only slight negative: I feel the hotel is a little understaffed, which impacts on waiting times for check-in/room cleaning/turn down service etc. However, let's be very clear, this is a very small issue and understandable given the current economic backdrop and issues with recruitment in the UK. All-in-all a wonderful hotel, with excellent service that is well worth a visit. It is not cheap, nor should it be. It was worth every penny. The pandemic has made people carefully assess where they spend their time and money, and all too often we feel let down with a trip, meal or stay. This will not be one of those times and I would highly recommend spending your hard-earned time and money at Cameron House. Thank you for the experience.

This was the first time we had stayed at Cameron House since it re-opened. Check in was smooth and friendly. The room we got was a standard double which was lovely - no view unfortunately. The bathroom did look slightly tired (it looked like it hadn't changed since the last time we visited) and was very disappointed to see that they now do not do separate toiletries. They are now on the wall in push bottles which were dirty and gooey around the bottom which for a 5 star hotel isn't really acceptable. We ate in the Cameron Grill restaurant - the staff were absolutely fantastic! Very friendly and attentive. I had the prawn cocktail and lamb for main. The food was fresh and tasty and the ambience in the restaurant was great. We had after drinks in The Great Scots' Bar which again was lovely and the staff were fantastic! The drinks however are on the expensive side. Beds were comfy and I had a good nights sleep until around 6am when guests started leaving and banging their doors, talking loudly in the corridors etc - although not a fault of the hotel this was really annoying. Overall we had a lovely time and I would recommend this beautiful setting for a special occasion as it is on the higher price bracket for a night away.

Hotel and grounds were lovely as were all the staff. They had some really nice bars on site not just a lobby bar. (Bit pricey but aren't all hotel bars) Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and rooms were very clean. The only down side to our 3 night stay was the food with the exception of breakfast, was very poor.

We were on our honeymoon & I am so thrilled we stayed here! Everything was amazing. We loved dining at the Grill, the pool & slide, the Spa was amazing!! Best Spa & pools I have ever seen, really loved the variety, it made it so fun. The Whiskey Bar was such a fun place to relax and hangout at night as well. All of the staff in every area were so accommodating and kind. We loved biking & jet skiing as well! The Pizza at the boathouse was amazing. The Chateaubriand beef at the grill was to die for. We also went on a Pony Trek through them as well which was so fun. I can't wait to return!
