This is a fantastic campsite which I have stayed at many times. It has well maintained pitches and Pods The showers, and toilets are clean and well maintained. There is a sheltered area where you can sit and prepare food, dry your clothes connect to WiFi and charge your devices. The location is prefect for the West Highland Way or a base to explore Loch Lomond and surrounding area. The owner, Gavin is warm and friendly and extremely helpful and Carolyn makes a fantastic Pizza. Thanks for a fantastic season of backpaking.

We had such a lovely stay at Drymen Camping! We were on pitch 13 and would definitely choose to stay here again. The site is surrounded by beautiful fields with horses, which made it feel so peaceful and relaxing. The facilities are really well looked after, with spacious showers that were a real bonus. The owner couldnβt have been more welcoming and helpful, which made the whole experience even better.

This is a perfect first stop while walking the west Highland way. Ive been here twice. Once years ago when it was just a campsite without anyone and with little facilities. Second time with my girlfriend and they made big changes in toilets, showers and the way you pay. Obviously the price went up with all the new facilities but it is nice and it is the best place to camp after starting the west Highland way.

Spent our first night on the West Highland Way camping here. The site is lovely and has everything you need, area for cooking and charging phones, place to sit and eat/chat/dry stuff if it is raining, great showers and a wee shop for supplies. Would definitely stay here again.

We are three friends doing the West Highland Way. Arrived in the evening and kindly welcomed by the hosts, two really friendly people. From the outside the campsite might look basic but as you come it's easy to notice that is very well kept and everything works good: clean and single baths and showers, lines for clothes and nice grass for tents. We ordered a pizza from a shop not far from there with fair prices. Overall, it is a super recommended place for everyone who loves camping!

I paid Β£10 for a solo tent for one night in September 2022. Nice showers and kitchen area. Pitching was on a slight slope which was a bit problematic for me as my sleeping bag kept sliding around on my sleeping mat.

Perfect for a first night on the west highland way! Small and simple little campsite with clean facilities. The public shed offers a nice shelter for rainy days but isn't the cosiest. I think a kettle would be a nice addition, so one can warm up in the morning after a cold and wet night. There is no drying room but some hanging spaces. The place offers homemade pizza delivery from a farm nearby for Β£10. Haven't tried it but I am sure it can be well appreciated after a hiking day. The little shop also has some basic snacks and cans.

Stayed here on the second night of my west highland way trek and can say 100% this was my favourite campground of the week. Quiet, spotlessly clean facilities and a super friendly owner made meant I enjoyed a great night's sleep unlike the previous night at another site. Theres a large barn with plenty of benches for sheltering from the rain and somewhere to cook, and a small onsite shop with snacks and some camping essentials. Great value for money. Definitely recommended for a peaceful night on the trail.

Stayed in one of the green pods and we were very pleased with it. Clean and fresh smelling and just what we needed as a luxurious alternative to camping for a night. Smart, well maintained campground. Showers and toilets were grand and host was friendly. Thanks!

Nice campsite with a big shed to shelter and with toilets and showers, fresh water and charging point for your devices. They also have nice cabins if you donβt want to camp in a tent (book in advance is recommended). Drymen village takes 45 min. walk and has a Spar for your stock. I had a perfect stay for one night to move on to the next location on the West Highland Way.
