   Scammers. All my dogs have been groomed at The Groom Room at Parkhead Forge for many years. Up until 2021 when they cancelled on the day and didn't pay my deposit back. As a lot of time has passed, I figured I'd give them another try. So I booked my appointment, paid the deposit, and on the day of the appointment they cancelled again. They offered an appointment on another day, but I refused and requested a refund. And again they haven't refunded my deposit. This is an absolute scam. They are thieves. If you have money to throw away, feel free to book your appointment.

   Finally! This shop after two years of MEH (uneven, choppy, missed spots and overcut chunks) grooming results for my dog - they finally have skilled dog loving groomers. Until now, I've not been happy with the work the (ever changing ) staff at the Groom Room did with my dog. It was in a word : MEH. Uneven, choppy. No more. Ever since the new crew have been there: Pam, Colleen, Alex and Sophie I have been very very happy. Pam has done his hair twice and if I were not moving to a new country I would continue here for sure. All four new staff are wonderful. They demonstrate intense delight with the dogs and their owners. They take their time with check in - making certain they understand what I want and showing me the difference in the different cutting combs. Highly Recommend!

   I took my dog for a groom at Pets at Home Glasgow Forge today 30/01/2024 and I am not very happy with the service and attitude of the staff at the store, no help towards my enquiries. I feel as if my dog has not been cut or trimmed she just looks the same as what she did when she went in, I paid £37 and I expect to have a haircut, and I was also charged £5 for being late but there was only a mention of this online if you are 30 minutes late not 15 minutes so why have I been charged. When I dropped off my dog or when the staff phoned me twice I was never told or informed that I would be charged until I received my receipt, which is not good Customer service.

   Put in my 9 month old Goldendoodle for a groom. I was anxious as when I seen the previous dog leave I wasn't keen on his groom. Believed the groomer would know what she's doing and trusted her. Big mistake. Got my beautiful dog back, roughly cut, long and short bits all over. Teddy legs weren't even cut just dried at the same length. Short head, shaved at sides and then long ear hair sticking out. Think someone needs to go back to training school. These people are meant to be professional. Won't be back!!!!.

   Cat was in for full groom came out as if hed been attacked by a hedgecutter. Total mess uneven all over ears not trimmed eyes not trimmed and all four paws not trimmed.

   Booked both my pug and golden doodle in. Got confirmation text. Next day golden doodle was cancelled but pug could still go… told them no. They’re both going or they both get cancelled. Both got cancelled. Rebooked… asked for nails on pug to be done…. Missed dew claw. Asked for golden doodles face to be trimmed as eyebrows and mouth was getting long… they took the clippers to it the full head. Left her looking like she was bald with a furry jacket on. Never taken them back

   The woman I dealt with was great with my dog. I was a bit worried about how he would react on his first appointment as he can get a bit excited but he was so chilled when I got him back and looked great. Very happy with the service. I would echo what someone else has said though in that they never answer the phone.
