I bought a meal deal but in my wrap was a long black hair which I found quite disgusting.
I just want to share an experience that I had in the store that I felt really offended me in the moment and also could be considered abuse towards a trans member of staff. This has been lingering over me for a over week now as this happened last Thursday the 29th of May and as a trans person myself I felt it very uncomfortable to hear the security staff consistently misgendering the member of staff at the till and repeatedly referred to her and Dude, bro and mate and used he/him pronouns when speaking to or about her. She clearly had a badge on which stated her pronouns but the security staff seemed to think it was okay to make fun of that. This incident was between 3.30-4.30pm on that day. It made me feel like I was not welcome in the store as a trans person myself and I will not be returning to that store unless those security members of staff have had sufficient DEI training and do not mock people who are part of the LGBTQ community.
As in other reviews. No staff, no one managing self check outs. Very poorly managed. Abandoned my attempt to buy anything due to the unreasonable wait time
No staff for self check out, apparently this place is not managed and chaotic. If you get stuck at self check out for a long time and decided to go for that manual check out, someone will eventually show up at self check out and speak to their headset that you didn’t pay for your shopping - which is quite a big accusation to throw at someone and this is not acceptable
Excellent customer service, nice and clean, good selection of products. Fresh bakery, coffee station and polite people.
Myself and my two younger siblings were racially profiled by the security guard. Felt incredibly uncomfortable. Should be ashamed of themselves for following around two minors. Everything else was fine.
One of my favourite markets. Very good quality products, lots of promotions every day, many different and interesting items. Shop is clean and tidy. You can easy find whatever you want. If you need some help or get information, you can can be sure, that customer service will be kind and helpful. Really recommend this brand.
I'm in this store quite frequently for both myself and work. I thought after visiting for so long I would have proven myself not to be an issue, however am still constantly followed by security. If I'm out of their vision I tend to wait 5 seconds before I notice one coming round the corner, shocked when I make eye contact. A few times recently they have stood by the self check out while I pay, so I always get a receipt. Would just be nice not to be stereotyped.
