I stopped at the petrol station after an accident on my way to work ripped a hole in my radiator. Just managed to get here before the engine overheated but the car is a write-off. I was struggling to get signal to tell my insurance company where exactly I was, and feeling rather shaken up after an unpleasant experience. The gentleman working there was unbelievably rude to me, and tried to make me move the car despite the clear evidence that it was not safe to drive. I appreciate it wasn't convenient for him, but it was early on a Sunday morning and certainly not convenient for me either when I was on my way to a 12 hour shift as a nurse. I was not in anyone's way and did not inconvenience other customers but he kept on asking when I was leaving, even when the recovery truck came. Start to finish he was rude to the point of hostility, so much so that I would rather run out of petrol on the A46 than ever set foot on that forecourt again. Would advise anyone in trouble and needing some help to go anywhere else. The cows in the field would have had more empathy than this guy.
