I was placed in hospital with an unexpected heart attack (I'm in my 30's), my lovely manager from hundreds of miles away arranged for Eades to do an absolutely beautiful display of fruits and have them delivered to Bath hospital. Not only did they do that, but they did that all after they closed and delivered it themselves which the most beautiful smiles. I can't thank them enough for going above and beyond, it was something I was missing so much, fresh fruit and the fruit is absolutely amazing. It all tastes great, sweet and juicy. Making me so so happy!!! Thank you to my boss Jonathan for getting me an amazing gift and the peeps at Eades for going totally above and beyond and making my week so very much better. You're awesome!!
My favourite shop in Bath - great family-run business with the best fruit and veg, as well as all sorts of other bits such as tinned and jarred food, cakes and pastries. Update Feb 2025: They now sell meat and fish next door, a one stop shop!!
Scruffy but who cares. Unpretentious. It's where I get my bananas! They are basically a veggie shop but sell lots of other things that are good for you (though you may have to scramble over a sack of potatoes or a person to get to them). Now I come to think of it they carry an amazing lot of stuff, from said bananas to frozen meals (posh ones) to bread to aubergines. Lots of organic food/veggies. I like it very much.

This shop is a little gem !!! His fruit taste so much better than the rubbish you get from the supermarket!!!! Lovely little family firm that you don't see much nowadays!!!! I don't know why His stuff taste better than anyone else's, it just does !
I love this shop! Proper old skool shop with a bit of everything you need and always lots of great new things to try too. Range of products varies from economical to five star highest quality. I always go in for one thing and come out with a bag full. Staff couldn’t be friendlier or more helpful and nothing is ever a bother. Highly recommended!
I started shopping here more frequently during the start of lockdown and I have continued shopping here since. Great business run by lovely people. Such a range of high quality items, including gorgeous tulips! Highly recommend!
Really is a cracking little shop. Not only are the staff very pleasant and helpful, the shop stocks really good food stuff. The best organic Italian lemons can be found here, with a taste of the Italian sunshine in them. Highly recommend if you need something nice and you are at Victoria Park for the day, as they sell cold drinks, bread and everything in between.
