   Standard sized Lidl, parking is free but you do need to scan your receipt on the way out and record your car registration. This store also has self checkouts which is good

   My first visit to this Lidl store was disappointing. I only intended to pop in for a quick shop on my way home, but I was shocked to discover that customers are required to scan their receipts to exit the store and scan it again and enter their car registration details to avoid a parking fine. At no point was this explained to me by any member of staff. In fact, I was about to drive away when a kind customer stopped me and warned me of the process, otherwise I would have received a parking ticket. The lack of clear communication and customer care is unacceptable, and I find the whole experience very frustrating especially when no other Lidl has the same restrictions.

   Discrimination towards age and disability. Never in my life have I been so upset by a branch! I was waiting to pay for 2 items in cash because I had nothing in card as I spent my money on a new bed, she asked me if I was gonna pay cash, but spoke to me like I couldn't understand (presumably because I'm autistic and can't fully understand social ques), and she was nice to the old man infront all smiley, her smile dropped the second she saw me, and she kept violently scanning my items in a strop, she was only satisfied when I had the exact amount of money. I'm sick and tired of staff like this all the time and it's getting to the point whether I should bother going in public on my own, the woman had blonde shoulder length hair, fringe, older middle age and freckles. Disgusting attitudes, bad customer service, I'm now crying because I hate myself enough for it.

   A 5 minute drive from Quedgeley, we have a lovely Lidl, where I buy most of my groceries. Great products at great prices and a middle isle that changes regularly, with everything from electric tools, nesting boxes, toys, heaters, air coolers and lots more. Always worth a visit.

   always busy, short of staff, don't go there if you are in a rush. It was refurbished 2 or 3 years ago but I don't know why they didn't do self checkout . By the way, till 1 always close never been open even in the peak time, I don't understand what is the benefit from it. Queue time starts from 5 minutes after 3 o'clock . You can save some penny's but you will waste your time. I can't give them less than one star. Honestly I spent around 13 minutes in the queue which is ridiculous.

   Beware although it's free to park here for 90 minutes. You still have to put your car number plate number in the terminal and tell the cashier your number plate and enter it into the terminal as you leave. If you don't you will be fined £90. So beware!!!!

   This is a great store and the staff are always really friendly. The only downside is Yate is getting massive with all the new houses being built and this store needs to be double the size to cope. Unfortunately for them they can't expand because there's nowhere to go ...unless they decide to build a second storey. Try to avoid peak times otherwise shelves are empty and you can find yourself queueing at the tills even though every single till is open.

   You can live like a king on a tiny budget. Booze, food and random wonders at bargain prices. You might go in for a bottle of milk but you'll leave with an electric screwdriver, a children's art set and enough booze to fuel an office party. Plus a pizza.

   Staff very friendly and helpful as always. However shelves lacking in stock, very busy today, had to queue for a while before being served as not all tills open. Guessing shortage of staff. Great value for money.
