Came to grab water. Shop closed 5 min before close. I knocked few times. Assistant seen me. Didn't open the doors.
Lovely Tesco. Served by a brunette girl who was very attentive. Would come again!
Local shop owner who frequently uses this store, Who on earth employs the staff! Customers are a nucience ! wo betide you want to be served at the counter by a member of staff for alcohol, and they have to come off their mobile phones to serve you! Awful store.
Not even worth a star! Should be minus! Terrible! They only serve you if they can be bothered. They rely on the self service tills. You have to cry out to be served! Then you get "Barked"at for just wanting to be served. Everything seems too much trouble for these two individuals. No doubt Tesco will look at the camera to prove! Dreadful customer liason, particulary by the Manageress and her very irritating back licking lance corporal(ess). Both of them seem unhappy and frustrated and give off a bad vibe. Go to CO OP. down the road. The staff there are comparative angels compared to those couple of demons. It is such a contrast. I could elaborate more but what's the point? Hardly anyone will read this because people don't think of reviewing Tescos irrespective of some obnoxious people that are in their employ. Dreadful Place. A Terrible Tesco. I hope they read this and change their attitude towards customers if only to keep their jobs.Its just those two, everyone else are great. I'm certain the "Good guys" know the "Wrong ones"?!! .
Pretty good local supermarket. Seems not as big as the nearby Co-op, and perhaps has less fruit and veg, but a bigger selection of other stuff instead. Very small freezer section. Good bakery section, and good for alcohol and cleaning products. Checkout area is small, but then it rarely seems to be busy in my experience. Free car park across the road is useful. Good long opening hours.
Apparently no one can man tills until 8am due to short staffing issues (every day I assume - how is this!!), majority of staff just wander around looking miserable, (2 younger guys very upbeat and helpful though), store shuts fairly often in the afternoon as 'short staffed', trying to get help with tills or when waiting for a till you are made to feel like you are causing a problem, lots of sighing and general huffing. Rarely have anything in bakery section in the mornings, reduced items are reduced by about 5% which makes it pointless to even look at. Hands down the worst Tesco I have ever been in. Surprised it is allowed to be run the way it is.
I have been 2 days at the same time ,at 9.45 and the supervisor didnt give me the opportunite of do a quick shop he said to me they have to close when the closing time is at 10 pm ,whats go8ng on? In this place,the cashier is all thw time playing phone even when she attended costomers ,this is a shame!!!!!
Yes...just agree very much with two previous reviewers. Wanting to leave a review after using the store since its opening couple of years back...staff friendly helpful...better manager now too, I think for last year or so...open until 11 pm. And early too. And no oppressing nasty radio...as in CoOp sadly is so..(..their own CoOp radio station bearing down on one there on and on...though have written to CoOp management repeatedly. They think that we should all have to like their CoOp choice of 'music' etc! No! ..thank you, despite having a lot of time for the CoOp otherwise...banked with them for 30 years and their bank is very very good, I find, customer service wise.) Anyway to conclude ..Can recommend this store fully, or very well...(& stocks a wide enough selection for regular groceries shopping...though clearly not the selection as in larger stores or all one night want or need.). Why would anyone review a Tesco? Well the reason was the staff, they were all super helpful and nice, maybe it was the area but everyone here was really nice, which makes a change from other shops. I came in 3 times in 2 days and each time they remembered me and chatted about the previous things, really lovely!
