What an amazing place to shop. I want to say a special thanks to Lily for helping me out and going the extra mile today. What an amazing member of staff, she is a valuable member of the Better Food team.
I just love it here, I love it so much. I live down the road, so it’s the most accessible cafe nearby me, and it’s perfect. Everybody who works here is so so kind as well, which just adds to the experience. The cafe is wonderful, I feel so healthy eating here and I can also bring my laptop and study if I want to as well. It’s genuinely a perfect spot.
The salad bar is ok but you get very little for your money. Other places fill your saladbox to the brim, Better Food is very stingy. If you want a good portion for similar price, there are better places on Gloucester Road.
The blonde shop staff member was so kind to me during a tough day and it really made me feel 100x better! 100/10 service will be back for sure. Irish staff member also always very kind and welcoming!
This really is the BEST cafe that I have EVER eaten in. Such unusual (and homemade) salads, vegan rolls, scotch eggs, cakes, pastries, smoothies and wonderful coffee. There should be a Better Food cafe in every town across the country - then we all would be slim and healthy. Mind you, I did have 3 cakes after my meal as it was all so good!! Great staff too. Worth travelling to - FANTASTIC. They also own and are attached to a fab organic food shop too.
Lovely staff with a good selection of ethically sourced food. Some loose to refill including cows milk and oat milk. Dog friendly really helps with our shop. Quite pricey but good quality and ethical.
This is an ideal place for those who'd like to commence or maintain healthy eating. Lovely selection of healthy, organic food, and I found the staff very friendly and helpful.
Found it super expensive compared to other organic suppliers. Also the staff on the till just chatted to each other like they were hanging out at home and basically ignored me. Was pretty rude to be honest
All produce served beautifully fresh, amazing scotch egg, wholesome lentil and vegetable soup served with sourdough seeded bread. The nicest part of the visit was the super friendly staff.
As other review have pointed out this place has friendly staff. They make you feel welcome and go the extra mile. Independent retailers need to work hard to survive in this economic climate and Better Food has not only amazing good food but also such naturally warm and friendly staff. The salads and aranchini are my favourite and the beetroot late in the cafe.
