Never in my 37 years of life, have I smelt such bad body odour emitting from the staff that work in a supermarket!!! It was actually disgusting. If I was a manager there, I would be having a very long look at myself & my capacity to ensure a pleasant experience for customers.
I hardly ever write on these things but feel she deserves the mention for her efforts....Went to do the weekly shopping today as we do every weekend, and when we got to the self scan check out we were greated by a woman called Angela. We see her there most weekends and she is always helpful, and she always manages to make us laugh and feel welcomed. They all work so hard in that department and I appreciate the ones that go the extra mile, just like Angela.
Visited the store today aways been Tesco but thought we would give Asda a go first time in about 10 years starting to do shopping all going well until we got to the fresh pizzas build how u like we usually get a take away but thought we would give it a go I asked the pizza maker ile have a medium with Everything on it NO cheese I’m allergic to it I was told I could only have 4 toppings I said I would happily pay extra for more toppings he very rudely said no no can’t have I was very upset and left on the way out I reported it customer service and I went to Morrisons to get a no stress pizza and do my weekly shop.ASda you need to step it up I will not be rushing back to ur store and will be sharing my experience
If I could pick 0 stars, I would, family members have been to this Asda today (sometimes twice a week) to then today, be followed around by the security guards, laughed at by staff, to then be told they’re banned - bearing in mind the security guards looked at these family’s members as they walked in and didn’t say anything. They have never been told that they’re banned, they haven’t stolen a thing in their life - this Asda is diabolical and I’m surprised it’s still up and running. The staff don’t do anything, they stand around chatting and smirking about people, they swear at their customers, the shelves are never stocked, there’s out of date groceries on the shelves, still being sold, mould on bread, whilst the staff stand around gossiping. Whilst you’re waiting at the cigarettes counter, the staff with blatantly ignore you and walk past with a long queue forming, just to avoid serving people. The security guards let children in on their bikes and scooter, driving around on them in the store, the security is a joke. Nothing but arrogant to look superior. I hope this store gets shuts down! If your card declines and you don’t realise, you’re banned, accidents happen, but this store are rude and ban you! They ban you, then let you in their stores, pay for your shopping, give your smug smiles, then let you leave, then when you try to do another shop a different day, they will come up to you and say you’re banned without a prior warning - this shop is disgusting for the hygiene, they make pizzas without gloves on, have leaks in the roof and nothing to catch the water, no wet floor signs are to be seen, it’s a hazard, but as long as the staff are gossiping, they don’t care, I hope this store gets shuts down, I will be taking this further, because their customer service is appalling.
Dirty store, checkout staff are incredibly rude and confrontational, many times i have witnessed this one lady swearing and shouting at customers, it is absolutely disgusting. On top of this they are breaking the law, by having out of date food on shelves. this is so shameful.
Don’t order from Uber eats useless meant to substitute items but didn’t bother waited over 30mins and just got a Fanta and Pepeami waste of money and time. Two items out of 5
Like a third world country- empty or near empty shelves, no lamb, no frozen potatoes, no own brand mayo etc. Went to Morrisons. More expensive but full shelves.
I only normally write reviews when I complain, but today I must say that the Customer Service I received from a member of staff on Sunday was excellent. The poor woman had a bit of a cue and the amount of people that walked out in disgust at having to wait was unbelievable. We all had to wait for her to do refunds, parcel collections, queries etc.... but she did it without panicking and when it was my turn to pick up a parcel she told me she was still in training. Maybe Asda you could have given her a bit more support on such a busy day, or at least when the person on the other counter (cigs) is not busy she could help out. Anyways, well done to that lady.
Very busy today, definitely need more staff on the checkouts , Not everyone is comfortable using self scan , Personally I don't like it , Management should maybe consider all their customers needs ,
I will never place an online order with Asda again! I ordered yesterday evening and was supposed to pick up my purchases on Sunday October 9 between 12:00- 13:00. I was informed by email that 2/3 of my order was canceled one hour before pickup time. Due to this situation I wanted to cancel my purchases through the website but the system wouldn't allow it and Asda Whitchurch Bristol didn't even answer the phone. Unfortunately, I had to go to a Click & Collect point. I was unable to pick up my purchase because the system did not recognize my order. I went to a store where I spent over 10 minutes queuing for customer service. I have been informed that I will probably have to pick up the ordered purchases at the delivery depot. Upon arriving at this place, I said I would give up my shopping and ask for my money back. The person in charge informed me that my order may be incomplete because the remaining products are sold out and not in the store. He apologized to me for the situation and said that he would immediately enter the information about the return into the system. I don't know if he did it. After leaving this place I went to the store and to my surprise found all the missing products on the shelves !! I am very disappointed and find this situation unacceptable. I wasted a lot of time and fuel getting to the store. What really shocked me was that in the afternoon I got an email saying my order had been picked up (which I didn't really pick up) and asking me to write a review! Late in the evening, after calling the Help Center, I received an email saying that I would be refunded. Total disaster!! Hi Anjan, Thank you for your response. My order number is 4812204000016.
