   I wanted to shout out the security you had working today(tesco Express - west street- bristol - dec 20/2025@1700)Wow What a lovely welcome, I've just moved to the area and this will now be my shop. I've never experienced a security guard with such hospitality. I felt immediately like a valued customer!! What a lovely human being! you have gained a loyal customer thanks to this man! I wish all of your stores had someone like this!! Thank you again sir!

   Most of the staff are rude. The new guy even laughed at me when I asked about a product. Overall, the customer service is really poor. I’ll definitely stop shopping there.

   Standard Tesco fare, plenty of products all arranged together logically with visible prices and everything fresh or within the best before date if relevant. Once or twice have come in to find the walls dripping with blood however this is clearly the walls themselves bleeding and not them being covered in someone/something’s blood which is to be expected and I have seen at other branches. Staff are helpful and courteous and most of the self-service tills accept cash which is refreshing! Cash is king after all. All in all a perfect experience, 3 stars.

   Multiple loose tiles are a leg break waiting to happen. Fridges are constantly locked open, even when not being restocked.

   Terrible new self service machines, no way to correct an item error without staff login - that would be fine except the staff aren't there to help you. It took 12 minutes for a staff member to come over tonight. I did ask someone for help but they told me it's not their job and to ask another staff member. It was very frustrating.

   Had a bad experience with the checkout person who was very rude& argumentative when I asked her why she told me to go que in a differant place to where I thought was the correct place.I did as I was told and then she proceeded to serve people from the area I was told to leave while I had to wait in the que she told me to go to????This got from bad to worse and I was told to F***k off by a male customer. Not a pleasant experience and I will not be shopping there again!!!
