Great supermarket that has rapidly gone down hill. For a residential supermarket they have gone to predominantly self check out tills which don't work when you're doing a weekly shop with a full trolley. Tons of staff standing around doing nothing where the queues for the tills are 4-5 thick. Often fruit and veg aisles are empty but plenty of staff restocking mostly full other aisles. No management in sight which I expect is the root cause.

30/08/25 : OMFG! Tesco has never been great, just about good enough, but they are getting worse & hit an all time low today, when we found a packet of Gluten Free Brioche Squares, one whole MONTH out of date!! Tesco : Somedays We May Have Stock, BUT Don't Worry About The Dates On Our Products, They Probably Won't Make You Ill Or Kill You!!!! 20/07/25 : still some fridges are not working, so difficult during our visit to pick up the yoghurt that we wanted, quite a few gaps where the bread should be stocked, as well as many other shelves with limited small amounts of products. Even as the teams are restocking the shelves, there remains empty spaces, stock replenishments are slow. We did manage to purchase more items on our shopping list this week, but still not a full shop. 06/07/25 : If you want a pint of milk, a loaf of bread, a newspaper, greetings card, or a couple of items of food, then thats ok, but if you want to do a weeks shopping, then go shop elsewhere! We found it difficult to do our weekly shop of Β£80 to Β£100 today, only managing Β£37, so off we go to another supermarket later today to complete our list. Many shelves again today needing stock & many a fridge unstocked, shutdown or generally out of order, when speaking to a member of staff, I was informed that a lot of the equipment is old, out of date working order & generally needs replacing. The store needs some updating & money spending if Tesco want to keep the customer base. If the rumours are true that a Lidl store is to be built in Nailsea, then this would take some more customers away. 03/07/25 : Another visit & more of the same really, areas of low stock & once again another excuse why there is not fruit juices or smoothie, I believe that maybe the chillers were not on shift or due to work today! Lots of reasons given why they are not working, but no one seems to be fixing them. So off to a different supermarket chain nearby to fulfil our shopping list. 27/06/25 : Come on Tesco, you need to try harder & care about those customers who return to your stores. in here to pick up a few items this morning, it's a clean store, but not always well stocked, so it's a bit hit & miss if you will be able to get everything on your shopping list. Today's shopping list I was able to fulfil, but once again found some Gluten Free bread products two days out of date, so not good again on the stock rotation or care for the customer. Three visits to three different Tesco locations in a month & four products still on the shelves that are out of date!!!

This store is getting worse! The stock availability is always a problem with empty shelves, no cooked meats, hardly any veg/salad on display, some perishable items past their sell by date, and frequently queues at the checkout. I was a member of the opening team at this store and this sort of situation would not have been acceptable. It has got so bad that we have to frequently go to Waitrose to top up our big shop which is obviously more expensive. We have seriously considered moving to Aldi or Lidli.

I have worked in retail (as management) so I am aware of the unacceptably high Shrinkage that this Industry has. I was therefore not upset when the self scanning tills insisted I have my shopping checked. I had four bags carefully packed, so I was not happy when all the bags (Β£70) were unpacked and scanned. The assistant did not find one item that had not been scanned. I was furious however, when I got home and found that heavy items had been chucked onto lighter tender items. My tomatoes were squashed! This morning, having forgotten a few items, I stupidly went back to Tesco and was subjected to the same irritation. At least it was only a few items this time. Twice checked within 24 hours begins to feel like targeting. I wonβt be back. Despite being my most convenient supermarket, Iβll be driving a bit further to go to Aldi!!

I recently visited Tesco and was impressed by the range of products, the helpful staff and the great prices. The store was well organised and easy to navigate. The produce section was full of fresh and healthy food choices, and I was pleased to find a great selection of organic items. The aisles were stocked with all the essentials, and I was impressed to find a wide variety of international products. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable, and they were quick to answer any questions I had. The checkout process was also fast and efficient. Overall, I had a great experience at Tesco and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and affordable shopping experience.

Baked bread variety really low and prices rising excessively. Cranberry with bits and bobs are the only loavess available if you cannot buy in the morning. Sometimes 7-8 loaves left from 2 types of the same cranberry bread (Finest and regular). As a suggestion, If the other types of bread are more demanded, would it be possible to bake more of these instead? Thank you

Vert good shop. Good staff. Best time to shop is between 7 and 8 in the morning or after7 at night. The shop has lovely bright lights, the only thing is the shelves are very high so Ihave had to ask a staff or customer to get something off a high shelf for me.
