   One cashier with a queue of several waiting this morning. One assistant standing by the self checkouts encouraging customers to self check out. Thought that I would try it but asked for her assistance - she immediately turned her back and walked away leaving me! Managed to get through self checkout but my touts card would not scan - asked for her assistance with the response that "You will need to manually enter the number of your card" - gave up and paid the full price with no loyalty discount. Management need to realise that the self checkouts have been open for a long time now and customers who are willing to use them will and rather than have an "assistant " directing customers towards self checkout they should be manning the tills.

   This is a fantastic shop, or, if you love Motherland, store! The variety of food choice is exeptional. Always, so clean, fresh and light and bright. Staff are so lovely and helpful. Highly recommend. Also, the best car wash I've come across.

   Called in to grab my son and daughter a sandwich. Knowing they sell a few local craft beers I picked up 3 cans whilst in the shop. Didn't expect to be be humiliated in front of a shop full of customers to be randomly acussed of buying them for my son. In all my life I've never been accused of anything so ridiculous. Since when have underage drinkers started drinking expensive craft beers. Terrible service will not shop there again.

   Decided to try one of the too good to go bags. £5 for apparently £15 worth of groceries. I've never received a too good to go bag before with yellow sticker items as if that's the case I might have just gone in to the store and pick the items of choice instead of the mystery of products in the bag but I am scratching my head to how this is £15 worth of food. If you add up the now price of the 3 items it comes to £7.37 and if you add up the was price it's £10.59 so false advertising to say its £15. Maybe there is a mistake and there should have been two bags which wasn't given to me but after a 12 hour shift I didn't check the items until I got home as didn't think I'd be short changed

   Staff are always really polite. Petrol prices reasonable enough most of the time. Wine is very well priced and my preferred place to buy it. The food is a bit overpriced. Some of it is local, but some supplied by Co-op, but too expensive. Always has been too expensive. I only shop for food here in an emergency. The £3 bread (Parsons Bakery supplied) I bought this week from here was stale.

   Staff attitude appalling. I had at least £50 worth of fruit and veg, frozen food and other groceries in my basket and asked for a box to put it all in. There were no boxes, I was told to buy plastic bags and I was told to hurry up as there were other people in the queue. So much for helping the planet, not selling plastic bags and encouraging customers to re-use existing packaging. Needless to say my groceries stayed in the trolley and I left the store without them. Appalling.

   I am disabled and find shopping quite difficult. The man who collects the trolleys is most helpful, he is friendly and polite. It iso nice to be given some help and treated with respect.
