This is a large store and gets busy. There are no self-checkouts so you rely on open checkouts, which unfortunately are very lacking - they need to be quicker at opening them during busy times. There is a good selection of middle aisle, but you need to be quick for some items (Dubai chocolate had sold out well before midday). Relatively clean, tidy and well stocked. UPDATE -There are now a few self service checkouts.

Along with ALDI they are the cheapest supermarkets. I like the fact they sell some well known brands and the fresh bakery section is an added bonus. The LIDL plus card is not as lucrative as it used to be. You used to get money off your shopping when you had spent a certain amount. Now it's just a free bakery item or fruit and vegetable item. They do give coupons for discounts off certain food items. Usually products you have bought in the past, which is good. They do a nice selection of greetings cards as well as newspapers and magazines. All round a good place to shop. With free parking, and disabled spaces available.

Easy to get to, just off of the M5 at junction 20. A medium-sized store, clean & well stocked, reasonably friendly staff & plenty of parking. What's not to like, park, shop, leave & go home.

Well stocked with a wide range of goods. Clean and bright. Friendly staff. Do feel for them as they're usually stressed out! There's always bargains to be picked up using your lidl app. Really do need a self service checkouts like AxxI . I've popped in for a few things and there's always someone with a large trolley in front who won't let you go before them. When I've a large shop it's common courtesy to let someone with just say with a sandwich and drink to go before you as you put your shopping on the conveyor belt.

What makes a great supermarket? I have no idea but what makes Lidl great for me in Clevedon is (in order of Front door to the exit). The flowers, especially the roses which last for longer than is usually expected. Next comes the bakery. What a choice of fresh baked bread, cakes and savouries. Look out for the fruit and veg which is "on offer" before stocking up on fresh fruit and veg. Check it out on the scales too. The shelves are well stocked with quality food and offers but if you are looking for a wife range then you won't find it here. If you don't want to spend endless time weighing up the choices offered in larger shops then less choice is a bonus.

Looking for birthday presents we tried a number of shops before trying Lidl. And there we found exactly what we wanted. Good quality, good value for money. Limited range of goods of the type of thing we were seeking but we found what we wanted so no complaints! Next time we will try Lidl first!!!

Does what it says on the tin - it's a discount supermarket! Recently lots of empty shelves and out of stock basic items, but better last week.

I frequently shop in this Lidl, Clevedon & have had nothing but the best customer service. Thank you for all your dedication to your customers during the Lockdowns as well. The Check Out staff especially.

Love Lidl, won't go anywhere else. But lately I am finding alot of the shelves are empty, so I do have to shop elsewhere for the things I need, especially the vegan products, other shops stocks alot of vegan so don't understand why Lidl aren't.
