Love coming here for retro sweets. The sweets were not stale too so I am happy. Plenty of long forgotten varieties here. Filled my bag with various liquorice sweets and ate more than half before I managed to take a photo.
Lovely classic Sweet shop at the St Nicholas Markets with a good selection of gelatin/chocolate sweets, also noticed a good variety of fudge. Reasonable pricing by the 100grams. You could buy sweets from anywhere but going to a cozy sweet shop like this one is always a better experience. I also noticed ice creams and soft drink cans.
Treasure Island Sweets in Bristol is an absolute little gem if you’ve got a sweet tooth. The candy selection is insane, like walking into a proper nostalgia heaven with old school sweets you barely see anywhere else. The staff are super friendly and happy to chat about the different treats or give recommendations, which makes the whole experience really welcoming. The shop is really clean and well-organised so you can actually see everything without it feeling cramped. The packaging and presentation are just spot on, everything looks super inviting whether it’s sweets to take home or gifts to grab for someone. The only downside is that some of the more rare or speciality sweets can be a bit pricey compared to other shops but it’s still worth it for the quality and variety.
UPDATE Despite my poor review after 6 months I still have not received a refund. Instead all I got was an angry email saying they were a small company and that my review was unfair. Obviously they don't understand what a review is for, let alone how to deal with an unfavourable one. Instead they heavily promote a different review site that they can control. Be warned, these guys will shaft you. Recently purchased Creamola Foam Orange Flavour (Drinking Crystals). The product shown on website is nothing remotely like what I received. Picture shows a metal tin, what was received was a cut down cardboard mailing tube with a label printed on am inkjet printer. Contents was a plastic bag of wet crystals that when added to water as per instructions it produces no foam what so ever. Didn't dare taste the drink as not convinced that the product is fit for consumption. Total con, will report to trading standards.
I'm very disappointed with the store's poor way of taking online orders.and it's delivery service. I've order Xmas candies for my grandkids on Dec 2nd. and it never came. The candies were sent to the wrong flat address. All I wanted was a refund for their mailing mistake. The store won't honor a simple refund to my PayPal account.
Appalling service from this company. I ordered over £50 worth of sweets on the 20th September goods have never arrived and its now the 27th and was told there not being posted till tomorrow so told him where to put his sweets

Sweetie Jar All Filled Up! Jelly sweets, boiled sweets, chewies, bon bons, and all the traditional classics you know and love. There is nobody better to see than Gareth when you need your sugar fix. And the possibilities are endless since he's got such a wide selection of sweeties and chocolate; you can try and imagine it but he's got more. There is too much choice and something for everybody. He even caters for you weird licorice folk. You can expect top quality fare here too, and although I've not tried the chocolate truffles...yet, I did treat myself to some butterscotch fudge which was out-of-this-world lush. Whether you're after something perfect for a pressie, looking to fill up for the flicks or for some treats for the train, Gareth will weigh you out a bag of swag and you'll come away with a smile.
