   I have received outstanding service from Callum in recent weeks which included free assistance when I dropped in unannounced due to a problem, help with a service and repairs and a quick turn around when dealing with a family bereavement. Callum could not have been more helpful and price was much much better than Arnold Clark. Last year Arnold Clark repaired the suspension on one side and Scott’s repaired the other side. Scott’s charged one third of the price I paid to Arnold Clark for the same job. Callum has good experience of working with BMWs which inspires confidence. Great service!!

   Contacted Scott’s garage due a flat car battery at my workplace. While all other garages were unable to help, Scott very kindly went out of his way to look at the car and sorted the issue out promptly and efficiently. What an absolute legend! I would highly recommend Scott’s garage for their professionalism, great work ethic, and genuine trustworthiness. Will not be taking my car anywhere else from now on.    Booked an MOT & Service via ServiceStop.co.uk of which Scott’s is the local garage. Price was really really cheap which should have raised an eyebrow. Initial pricing was via Servicing Stop with no contact with the garage at all. Car was picked up from the house and returned by Scott’s which is a good and handy service. Car failed MOT on a ball joint requiring replaced. This was charged at 197 + 39 VAT with a total cost of £236. This is on top of the MOT and Service charge which was another £95. So total cost of service, MOT and repair was around £350. £236 is an excessive repair charge for a ball joint for my car. The part is low on cost and labour charges should also be reasonable as it is a quick repair that should take a mechanic around 30 minutes. I note the garage are saying that all cost attributed to this lie with the 3rd party retailer but there were many ways this could have been resolved in a manner which meant that the customer (me) was not being significantly over charged to make up the price of what was a cheap initial price of service and MOT. The garage could have taken some ownership of this & reached out directly and advised that they had come across a required repair and would fix it directly rather than through the company as this would save £100+ I have also left a review on Servicing Stop.
