Umang and Vaishali and the work they do are central to the village community. The post office and shop are convenient and well stocked and everyone who works there is lovely!

What a delightful post office! Umang was so kind and helpful when I needed to drop off a large selection of mail and was very patient and accommodating with me. Great selection of snacks and essentials too. I wish all post offices were this friendly!
You could not wish for a better Post Office/Village Store. Umang and Vaishali are fantastic and so dedicated, they stock everything you could need or think of (in the region of 6000 products I believe). During the pandemic lockdowns they provided a lifeline to the local community, especially the elderly/those sheltering. Josh who often mans the shop is always friendly and helpful. Great opening times. If you need to get there by car the parking can be tricky at busy times, but that's Pensford for you. An absolute asset to the village, thank you.

Good local stores with a reasonable sized range. It has a very strange feel to the inside because it is in essence a house. The only issue is that the parking out the front. There aren't that many spaces and the ones that are are often full.
