The shop owner seemed to be fine when chatting so not really going to speak to that but I was very disappointed in getting back to the hotel only to find that the drink we had purchased was expired. Not something we tend to see these days but nevertheless it should be their responsibility to check their stock. Sorry!
Best shop in Chepstow for drink. Good service and friendly staff. Qamer is the best ;)
I am sharing my own experience it’s a good shop in small town, they have wide variety of Beers,Soft Drinks , wines and other stuff. It’s pretty good I recommend to all of you who see my review, go on there and Enjoy in reasonable prices.
Almost surreal experience where shop assistant put immense pressure on me to buy a four-pack that had been damaged. I had lifted the four-pack up and two cans spilled onto the floor, denting one of them. His immediate insistence that I pay for them made me suspicious. I checked the cardboard wrapping and discovered that a large part at the corner was missing. It was nowhere to be seen, adding to my suspicions. It would have been impossible to get this *onto* the shelf in the pack. I refused to pay and said I’d be happy to pay for an intact four-pack (and the bottle of wine I’d also chosen). Then came the emotional pressure. This was becoming irritating and I said I could but undamaged goos here, or elsewhere. Don’t think I have had a weirder experience in a shop ever: being blamed for damage that was so clearly nothing to do with me. Draw your own conclusions but I won’t be going back.
Not happy being ripped off little shop or not shouldn't be taking advantage of hiking your prices higher than anyone else .
