Came across this restaurant while staying in the local area and it was absolutely spot on. Highly recommend the confit duck, it melted on the tongue and the crispy potatoes were the perfect companion flavoured to perfection. Thank you for a wonderful dinner

Our first time here and was served a delicious French meal at Tell Me Wine a super French Bistro in Chepstow that also sells wine and offers wine tasting. We had quiche as a starter followed by cassoulet and boeuf bourguignon super tasty with more than enough choice on the menu of french dishes. The owners are very lovely too we shall return without a doubt.
An enjoyable beef bourguignon on a Friday lunchtime. Two others in party tried the Lamb à la Provençale. Portions just right for lunch. Fabien and Chris running a lovely establishment. It was quiet there, maybe lunching not a big thing in Chepstow?
An absolute must if you find yourself in this beautiful part of the country. We had a wonderful wine tasting experience for 16 people. Chris accommodated us quite last minute and was very relaxed and communicative. She also put on the most delicious spread of homemade food, catering for our dietary requirements with ease. Fabien’s tasting was perfect balance or informal yet informative, and including a Welsh white was a particular favourite. We learned a lot and loved the selection! Thank you so much!
Our new favourite date night. A lovely little wine bar run by a lovely couple. Very knowledgeable, welcoming and friendly. The charcuterie board blew us away - we ordered a second one. We will be back!
Went to Tell Me Wine for the first time tonight - superb. Great choice of drinks (HUGE choice), very friendly and knowledgable owners and tasty nibbles (we had the tapenade and toast - very large portion, delicious). Also sells what seemed like hundreds of wines in the store as well as balsamic vinegars, liquers and oils. Only downside I would say is there is a small food menu, particularly for vegetarians/vegans. Might be worth thinking of expanding that in the future depending on the place's success. Would recommend.
I've placed online orders with Tell Me Wine for the last 3 years at Christmas and have always been really impressed with their service. There's a great selection of wines and the staff are very helpful when I've had questions about gift wrapping and delivery. My Grandparents are always thrilled with the delivery. I will definitely be using the service again and would highly recommend to others!
First time buyer today , won’t be the last time. What a very stylish setup with very knowledgeable owners who give off their passion for wine. Went in for one bottle but left with two as the prices are great for wine you won’t find in your supermarkets.
Fabian did a wine tasting for my hen party - he was amazing!!!! 100% book him. He was so knowledgeable and interesting but also funny. We all bought some of his delicious wine afterwards!
