A group of four of us stayed at the Old Dairy for two nights for a wedding at nearby Ardoch. The location was perfect for us and the cottage ideal - clean, comfortable and well appointed. I would have no hesitation in staying there again or in recommending it to others.
Curlew Cottage at East Cambusmoon was a perfect holiday home for our family of adults in an ideal location. With a very high level of comfort, modern, stylish interiors and everything needed to self-cater well, the house had tranquil views over fields of sheep and to awe inspiring Conic Hill and Ben Lomond. There was so much to do in the area with walks to the shores of Loch Lomond, splendid cycling using KatrineWheelz at Loch Katrine and drives in the most beautiful landscapes over to Lochgoilhead via Arrochar. Glasgow airport is a 22 mile drive, useful for picking up family who could only stay at the weekend. We were able to visit the Kelvingrove Galleries and Museum which was well worth a visit as had lots of history relating to the local area. Conic Hill has recently had a new path to the top and the views to the Loch are astounding. We enjoyed the Clachan Inn in Drymen and The Old Mill at Killearn. Other recommendations are the delectable banana bread at the wee Petrol Station in Gartocharn and having the Chrystal Shortbread in the welcome pack means I won't ever buy any other shortbread again. A week at Curlew Cottage is not enough to enjoy all that the area has to offer; I would have loved to have stayed on in the cottage for a good while longer. Deborah and her husband made us very welcome and we truly appreciate the work they have done to make East Cambusmoon such a top-notch self-catering home.
Fabulous cottage in a quiet location but handy for Loch Lomond and the Queen Elizabeth forest park. The cottage are really well appointed, warm, spacious and comfortable. Eco-friendly too! The owners are very friendly and live next door, nothing is too much trouble.
A truly exceptional place to stay! East Cambusmoon provides quality accommodation in a beautiful setting, nestled in the rural landscape with views to die for. Glasgow city centre is an easy 40 minute drive - the best of both worlds! Debs and Steve, the owners were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Decided to come for a long weekend and found this gem. It’s situated in a beautiful spot and the accommodation is just 5 star and beautiful. It also has the added benefit of EV charging. Still on holiday here and will be booking a return.
We have rented Curlew Cottage twice now and both times we have not been dissapointed!!! With ample space inside it gives the whole family freedom to do as they wish. The cottage itself is clean and well maintained, it comes fully stocked with utillities and kitchenware. Everything seems brand new and i love the log fire, it heats up the house pretty quickly and stays warm for hours. The hosts are kind and generous (both times we have been given milk, eggs and bread). They have a small farm which has sheep and chickens, the kids love feeding the chickens (they now come to them seeking snacks whenever they are playing outside) and they are allowed to ride their bikes on the farm. The local area is outstandingly beautiful, we have made multiple trips driving around Loch Lomond and even went up to Fort William... the best part is that you come back to the cosy cottage to relax after a day walking/driving around Scotland... we will probably book again for next year Faruq and Family
