   Winscombe wine shop is a little gem. Lovely wines at affordable prices. My daughter use to be a regular customer & we would always use Winscombe wine when we visited. She has moved now & I live across the border...Devon...but I'm always kept posted with offers & new wines. The voucher idea is great. I know what her next present will be!!    Friday night’s Summer Wine wine tasting was superb. This is my 8th wine tasting experience at The Wine Shop and the evenings are always informative, fun and friendly. What I love is the opportunity to find out about wines and then taste them without knowing the price (until the end of the evening). I can thoroughly recommend both The Wine Shop and the tastings.

   Cannot recommend this lovely little wine specialist enough. I've been a number of times over the past few years when visiting family in the area. The shop is small, but has a selection that far out punches the floor space. The staff are enthusiastic, knowledgeable and down to earth. I was given a wonderful North to South Portuguese tasting selection for a cozy evening. Tell them what you are after. Or what you want to learn. Trust the advice. Well worth travelling the extra mile.
