A particularly unpleasant shopping experience, sadly. The lady working on the day I visited was unwelcoming and didn’t crack a smile once. My presence was unwelcome I think.
Went into the shop on Saturday 8.11.25 to get my husband some cigars. The lady behind the counter was very helpful and talked me through the cigars, as I had no clue what to get. Very informative and described the profile of each cigar. I was a very unsure customer of what I wanted but she helped me a lot, I think her name was Elsa. I felt a little sorry for her as the internet kept crashing, but she kept her cool. I left the shop with a lot more knowledge than when I went in, Thank you for your expertise. :)
It felt like the lady in the shop was on a secret mission to make sure the shop didn’t earn a profit. She looked like she’d rather no one walked in or asked her anything at all. No smile, no friendly vibe. If you enjoy being glared at while shopping, this place is perfect.
Newbie to cigars and on my stag, wanted a new one to try. Sweet, well stocked store. Mentioned what I had tried previously and a great selection was suggested based on my previous experience. Went for a Sanco Panza. First cuban and a real lovely smoke. Nice to have someone who knows their stuff discuss whats a good choice.
Bought 5 Upmann half coronas here on the recommendation of the young man working there. They were next to impossible to smoke, drawing badly and having a blackish ash. Went back today to leave feedback, but the young man did not react one way or the other. £80 badly spent. I used Tranters 40 years ago for tobacco and cigars, so I am a little disappointed.

Worst online shopping service I have ever had. It has been a month and I have still not received items that I had paid for. Listed are all faults I had with a single order: 1. Item shown as "available" was not shipped to me, instead it was refunded without any prior communication from the company. 2. In the same shipment, items were completely wrong to the ones I had ordered (how can you mistake papers for filters?). So I have not received correct replacement to this day. The tobacco I have received from you is also not the one I had ordered, instead of rolling tobacco you have sent me low quality pipe tobacco – and it is unfit for rolling. 3. 2 weeks after original order and after a lot of emails, you sent me a replacement order which was supposed to contain all missing items, and I had to pay again separately. When 1 week ago it was marked "Delivered" on the Royal Mail tracking service, I was surprised and zoomed in on the picture to see you have somehow put in the wrong address this time - with my name and postcode on it. 4. It took you 4 days to reply to my email about the latest problem, you said that it will be re-shipped yet I have not received any tracking email. This was 1 week ago. 5. You would do good to suspend Boris from their duties, as they are extremely incompetent - this was my experience. I am so stressed because of this hassle that I have started a formal complaint, and will go all the way to the Trading Standards if this is not upheld. Your company does not seem credible to me. If you brush off my review or intimidate me on Google reviews like you seem to do to other customers, I will include this into my complaint to Trading Standards.
Lovely, quaint cigar shop, helpful and concise proprietor. I was among many people celebrating theirs and their loved ones University of Bath graduations by buying some of their first cigars just yesterday, the man working the shop was very helpful and informative, and thankfully very concise, so that I was in and out of the shop in a matter of 2 minutes with everything I needed. Lovely service, beautiful little shop, very good in general.
