Always enjoy a walk to the Braes. Plenty of various walking routes. I like to incorporate a visit to Carmunnock with a pit stop at the Booth for coffee, cake, breakfast roll or lunch. Also include Coulters wood and Cathkin marsh. Only downside is, there's no toilet facilities.

Great trails for a little cycle, I didn't do much but my son loved it. Cracking views over the city, well worth a visit for the views alone. Busy with walkers and Dog walkers so be aware of this on some of the trails.

Excellent dog friendly park, lots of space and even rivers for the dogs to run about and play. My new favourite spot in Glasgow for long walks, dog training and dog play time. Recommend for anyone all ages

This is a brilliant place for dogs. It has so much open space for them to run. It also has a large wood, the beech trees are beautiful at this time of year. Also for the dogs who love water there is a burn running into a big pool. At the bottom of the wood on a clear day you get a great view of the city. It's an easy walk no big hills. There are mountain bike trails throughout the park but they are well sign posted and easy to avoid. Mr Dog loves it.

This area is a fantastic walkway to walk for miles. It has the bike track. Very dog friendly.

Nice views of the city from above. I'm not into mountain biking but it seems like trails are nice too. Nice spot to stop at night.

Stunning place, so peaceful! Great for taking the kids and the dog. Plenty walking routes, mountain bike trails too.

Lovely, peaceful area with well signposted walking and cycling routes- suitable for families and dog walking but I wouldn't reccomend for persons with mobility impairment. The braes are well maintained and users seem to be respectful and take their litter home too. There's often a little coffee van at the the top car park which is a great bonus!

Grate for walking the dog or with family. If you have mountain bike there are few routes to choose from too. Great space to use

Lovely views over the city, well worth a drive up to it. Decent car park but get there early as particularly busy at this time. Walk down the hill to Fernbrae Meadows for some benches and a nice wee circular. Would be lovely for a picnic in the summer.
