I go here often and I was in again yesterday... it is a lovely relaxed atmosphere... the food is really good and the homemade chicken curry I had yesterday was absolutely AMAZING!!!!! It was so authentic and just delicious. Chicken was so tender. I asked the lady on the till how they make it... she told me her husband is a chef from the Fiji islands and he makes it... I would go back for the chicken curry, rice, naan bread every time!

The Christmas decorations here are really nice. Theyβve got a good range β wreaths, lights, ornaments, and lots of bits for gifts too. The place feels properly festive, and itβs nice just to walk around and see all the displays. The staff were friendly and gave some good tips for decorating. The whole garden centre looks really cosy and cheerful for Christmas. Definitely worth a visit if you want to pick up some nice decorations or just get into the holiday spirit.

Lovely garden centre with a gigantic range of home and gardenwares, and the flowers are always beautifully arranged and affordable. The cafe isn't anything to rave about, but the shop itself has absolutely everything a gardener could dream of, from tools to flowers, bulbs, seeds, decorative wares and furniture. The grounds surrounding the garden centre are equally as lovely and well worth walking round in good weather, plus or minus a fluffy friend (dogs are very welcomed in both!)

We went for a walk today since the weather was nice. Nice and peaceful . All dogs on a leash so no dramas. Polite folk and you have to try the ice cream!

It's been ages since we last graced this place with our presence, but let me tell you, the changes are mind-blowing! The park area has always been a delight, but the Garden Centre/Cafe is on a whole other level. It's a gardener's paradise, with everything from flowers to mature plants and even fire pits to jazz up your outdoor space. The cafe, or should I say the "not-so-new cafe," has been around for a while, but it's had a fabulous makeover. The food is just as delicious as ever. Whether you're in the mood for a coffee and cake catch-up with a friend or a full-on meal, the menu has got you covered. Trust me, this place is a must-visit for all you garden and food enthusiasts out there.

Had a lovely lunch today with a friend and our kids but then it all went a bit sourβ¦ As I was just about to leave a member of staff from the till approached me and abruptly told me where the baby change was. I smiled and said yes I know I used it with my son prior to our lunch being served. She repeated it again and pointed in the direction of the baby change and I reiterated that I know where it is and had already used the facilities. Her response was you donβt change babyβs at the table or use the chairs to change them in here you use the baby change! I was absolutely mortified as I had not changed my sons nappy at the table I had placed him on a chair to get his knitted pramsuit on before placing him back in his pram. Heβs a young baby therefore he needs to be laid flat to get into outdoor clothing. He was FULLY clothed and not a nappy or any skin in sight. At no point during the lunch was my sons lower half exposed to a cafe full of people he was fully clothed and sat on my knee for the duration of the visit. I did address this issue with another member of staff and suggested that they learn how to approach customers appropriately with potentially sensitive subjects. An apology would have been niceβ¦

Wow, what an amazing park. Loads to do and see. From playarea for the kids, table tennis tables, tennis courts, skateboard area as well as lots of outdoor gym equipment spread around. Walk round duck pond, leads onto waterfall then down onto the Glen walk. If your luck you might find the wall gardens. Finishing of with a hot chocolate and sandwich from the van on site. You really will enjoy.

Busy Sunday, lunch good but pricey. Freshly cooked though and service quick and efficient. Great selection of Christmas decorations if that's your thing.

Forth Valley Scone Rangersβ last visit to Rouken Glen cafe was something of a disaster thanks mainly to a huge queue and a long wait for service. Today (20/5/22), no such problems as there was no queue at all even at 1pm. Quite surprising. However, although comfortably furnished, the cafe is very dark except for the tables beside the window. They really ought to consider stronger lighting. The coffee was fine and for once we did without scones as weβd had one earlier elsewhere. Their cream scones did look appealing though. Iβve never been a fan of their shop. Iβve never seen so many plastic flowers under one roof. Each to their own I suppose. The garden area is good though, if on the small side.
