Park is fairly compact and is thenformer grounds of the now demolished Hermitage House. It is beautifully laid out and contains some interesting Heritage facts which are signposted throughout. The war memorial within the park is particularly worth a visit.

If you have children and want to spend a few hours at a beautiful, fun place this is it. I had no kids on this trip but still had a blast. There are not a lot of playgrounds like this in the United States anymore. Open spaces to run, fun toys to play with. A sitting zip line.

Visiting Helensburgh for a few days I had seen Hermitage Park on the map but we stumbled on it, quite by accident, as we were exploring the town during our first evening walk. Even though it was the evening there were lots of people around: lots of dog walkers, young families and teenagers. We were in there for ages but probably missed quite a lot. We did see the children’s play area, the War Memorial and so many beautiful rhododendrons!

Park located near the train station. Free entrance. Clean and organized. Kids space and space for picnics, hiking. I recommend it, it's my favorite place in the city

Have not been to this park in a long time but it is much improved. They have moved the playpark to the front it is all new there is sand and water for the kids to play with also good frames to climb on and there is now a cafe for a bit of coffee when there playing. At the back of the park there gardens and nice area to walk and get a bit of history on the old mill that was there by the burn

It's a beautiful park to walk around. The play park is a favourite with our two. Public toilets are limited to when the cafΓ© is open. But yeah a recommended visit.

I was shocked to see the disgraceful state of the area in front of the cafe. Border plants are engulfed in weeds and the former bowling green is now more mud than grass.

Good day even though it rained a bit. Well kept park, nice for walks and with a good play area. Cafe looked good as busy , no seats for us this time

Hermitage park is a old park and its very well maintained. Kids will really enjoy the play area. There is war memorial inside the park. Some of old picture shows that it was previously of this park. During World war time the house was used a hospital for the wounded.

Family visit in December so park was quite empty but a nice walk around the park followed by playpark and cycling practice on the tarmac area. Cafe was open as well and had good choices for children's meals.
