   Extremely poor service. Requested to have my jacket sleeves taken up by 3 inches, didn’t alter material just turned up sleeves and poorly sewed them to the inner material. Stitching came away on the second wear (!) see picture. Returned item and was refused a refund and offered to ‘double stitch’ ? Surely should have been done properly the first time. Just took my jacket elsewhere and the owner of the second alterations shop said the jacket was taken up 2.5 inches on one side and 3 on the other (so was uneven - I didn’t measure it but assumed it would be correct!). I would avoid this establishment for any alterations, very poor service. Paid £17 and was refused refund so I had to pay £20 somewhere else to have job done properly.

   Similar to other reviews posted on here, the male front desk adviser falls short on his customer service skills and thinks it's acceptable to fabricate the truth in order to get themselves out of a situation that they created. I would have been accepting of someone who holds their hands up and says they've made a mistake. What makes my experience worse is that I was overcharged for my garment and it's only marginally cleaner than when it went into the shop. I definitely won't be back.

   I use Hot Off The Press for my regular dry cleaning as well as for occasion dresses. The results are always great with really reasonable prices. Excellent customer service from this local family business! 10/10 would recommend.

   Wouldn't use again. Sent laundry for ironing but on return, although ironing was good, at home noticed that a shirt might be missing. Phoned and explained to owner that although I couldn't recall what shirt or type of shirt was missing my wife was confident of the number of items sent an we would appreciate him looking out for a spare shirt/blouse and then contacting us. At this he became defensive and aggressive saying that it was impossible to misplace anything. When I pointed out that it was unlikely if it was impossible and my wife was confident of her count he hung-up the phone. This is not an acceptable level of service.
