   Staying here with my wife in May 2025, we booked an executive room for the extra space. Well we were not disappointed. It was a spacious room with a table and space for bags on the floor. Room felt ‘tired’ but was good to use. Shower did leak water into bathroom floor when in use. Good space for toiletries on Bathroom. Service in the hotel was good with staff ready to assist when requested. Overall it was good value and we would go back.

   Stayed for 2 nights late November 2025. Ultimately disappointing. Room was very tired and badly laid out with TV at the furthest point from the bed with a lamp fixed in front of it, which ultimately didn't matter as the available TV channels was 2 or 3 depending on the time of day. Entertainment needs a serious upgrade, as did the decor and furniture. Room was cold and no amount of coaxing via the faded control panel would change it - raised with reception, maintenance reset the control but no improvement. We had to request a 2nd duvet to keep warm at night. Shower was ok for the 5 minutes hot water was available, pointless after that. For a 4 star hotel this was a distinctly 3 star experience. On a positive note the staff were very helpful and professional, and clearly embarrassed they could not do better or offer better. Novotel really need to invest in this hotel or sell to someone who cares. The location is very good for Bristol centre, and the onsiteparking is good, and price comparable to city centre car parks near by.

   Stayed for the weekend. It’s close to walk to from the train station and central Bristol. While the decor style is dated, it’s been well maintained. Skirting boards are freshly painted, Brita water dispenser on each floor. Finally, the staff there were absolutely wonderful. Film and Jess in reception were friendly, helpful with every request. Sia, Almu and Alina in the bar and restaurant were helpful with a smile.

   Lovely hotel and enjoyed our stay. The rooms are lovely, plenty of space. Thought gone into it like plug sockets in important places, bedside and next to vanity mirror. Often overlooked. Good quality toiletries much appreciated. Only comment is that reception staff were cool and not very welcoming although efficient. Would stay again and use novotel again.

   It's a bit tired tbh. The grouting in the bathroom is mouldy. The carpets a bit mucky. Also, I'm in my bedroom now, and there's a mouse running around, which is not ideal. The restaurant is quite nice though - the Cambodian veggie curry was good, and the staff were friendly and efficient even when busy.

   Would have scored more on location if there wasn't a building site not only next door, but also directly opposite. Was checked into the wrong room initially. Got moved to a room that whilst clean, was not set up for guests. Wanted to order room service to realise no phone in room. Shower didn't work at all, and when I ran the bath, lots of nasty detritus came out, and I wasn't sitting on that for anyone! Saving grace was an abundant breakfast bought to my room by a really lovely staff member. Never again!!

   Nice room but me and a friend booked into a double room with breakfast and there was only one breakfast in the morning. Go figure. And was told I would have to wait 3 hours to get a receipt 'until the manager arrived at 9am' what madness....

   Stayed here a few times now. Great location- close enough to places, but far enough away not to be disturbed by stag and hen dos. Nice clean rooms - well serviced, if needed. Can be a bit pricey, but it’s a hotel in a big city!
