The best Meal deal in Airport! Really fantastic! Price was like in Tesco :)

I went with my wife and 3 kids to Ibiza this winter. Considering we got to the airport at 4am, being able to get our Meal Deals at Boots before boarding the flight was an absolute godsend! The shop was busy, but the options for food were good (even with my fussy youngest child), and we were in and out of there with minimal hassle!

I bought a bottle of water for £1.60 and paid by card at the self checkout. It went through fine and the terminal asked me if I wanted a receipt which I declined. I had just turned away and began to leave when I was stopped and told my payment hadn't gone through. I informed the person it had went through ok and told him about the receipt. He just insisted it hadn't and I needed to pay again, which I did. I went through the exact same process at the self checkout. I then checked my online banking which showed 2 payments of £1.60 to boots. I showed this to the staff member who still insisted he was right despite my evidence to the contrary. He couldn't explain the 2 payments. I wonder how many other people have experienced this with boots but never pursued it due to the small amounts. All these small amounts will add up to a nice big amount to boots though. Disgraceful service and attitude from boots.

Jackie has been a superstar! I had concerns that my last minute order wouldn’t arrive before my flight, so phoned the shop to ask about delivery times. Jackie reassured me that most packages do come early but that they also had a few items I was after in stock, so I knew what would be available to buy there if I needed to. She also took my number to call if the delivery did come on time, so I didn’t have to rush out and buy twice unnecessarily. Just had the phone call from Jackie there to say that my order is in and ready to go. This has been such a huge help and one less worry when travelling with an 11 month old! Huge thank you from us for excellent customer service.

The price of the products here is far more than online. Not sure how they get away with it. Trapped audience I suppose

Staff demand to scan your boarding pass when buying a meal deal so they can claim the Vat back on what you paid to line their pockets. In the UK it is not a legal requirement to show your boarding pass unless you are buying duty free products. I refuse point blank to show the my boarding card due to data protection laws. If you shop here do not show your boarding card, as they will claim the Vat that you have paid and not reimburse you the difference. Scammers.

The zeroth law of thermodynamics states that if two thermodynamic systems are each in thermal equilibrium with a third one, then they are in thermal equilibrium with each other. Accordingly, thermal equilibrium between systems is a transitive relation. Two systems are said to be in the relation of thermal equilibrium if they are linked by a wall permeable only to heat and they do not change over time.[1] As a convenience of language, systems are sometimes also said to be in a relation of thermal equilibrium if they are not linked so as to be able to transfer heat to each other, but would still not do so (even) if they were connected by a wall permeable only to heat. The physical meaning is expressed by Maxwell in the words: "All heat is of the same kind".[2] Another statement of the law is "All diathermal walls are equivalent".[3] The law is important for the mathematical formulation of thermodynamics, which needs the assertion that the relation of thermal equilibrium is an equivalence relation. This information is needed for a mathematical definition of temperature that will agree with the physical existence of valid thermometers.[4]

When staying in a hotel beside airport, i had to get medicine i needed for my daughter. I went to airport thinking Boots was in arrivals. Obviously i couldnt go through security but i did however need the medicine asap. After ringing the store they were so helpful. They took payment over phone and sent a member of staff out to the arrivals with my purchase. Fantastic service
