I was greeted warmly, waited a short while. Was seen to by a very helpful and kind lady. I forgot my ID so I had to return later. The welcome back was just as friendly. They gave me a great price. All went smoothly. Was very happy to sell my scrap metal here. Highly recommend. All staff very friendly.
I went in to pawn my gold ring in. Was gonna be the first time using this store so had to register which was fine. They told me all was fine and a was registered. Then suddenly decided they're not accepting my item or was it just me. Didn't give me a reason why. After all that palaver of registering and giving me the loan amount I would receive. Never had a problem anywhere else before so went elsewhere and got what I was looking for. So there wasn't a first time using this store and I will be avoiding in the future
Went for my Euros this morning and once again service first class. Young man Alan who served me was excellent in every way.A pleasure doing buisness with Alan and all at H&T
I have absolutely no words to say except that the staff here are so amazing. They have been so supportive and kind to me and i honestly can’t thank them enough. Especially Jane the manager honest to god I don’t know where I would be without her, she is so caring, understanding and I’ve never met someone who genuinely wants to support me as much as she has. I have been coming here for years and I have never had one bad experience. I would like to thank all the staff for all their hard work
Was at this store today, buying a gold necklace and a pair of gold earrings. The customer service from Liz was fantastic, she went above and beyond to help me find the best pieces of jewellery that I was looking for. Liz was talkative, helpful and courteous. She would also listen very carefully to me, as if she cared about what my needs were and answered any questions I had about the products in store. I would definitely shop in this store again, hopefully Liz will help out again in the future! Thank you.
I bought some beautiful diamond earrings from the Glasgow branch and Janey and Sharon were really helpful and professional. We have bought a number of jewellery items from here before and always been very pleased. Highly recommended.
This shop can be a hit or miss with most often being a miss. If your buying gold items a member of staff will lock you in the store until purchase has been complete just in case you run out the door, this shows that they have trust issues with customers. Lately they have stopped buying scrap gold and silver unless it's an item that they can flip quickly but they will still offer scrap prices. I came here to have items of jewelery and was offered rock bottom price one gold chain was valued scrap at £150 but ended up selling it in ebay for £475 so that shows thct the odds are high that you will get ripped off at HT Pawnbrokers. A couple of female staff can be rather arrogant.
