   Submitted a claim to Homeprotect their trading name. Then decided to cancel it as the cost to make good damage was less than the excess. Homeprotect refused to cancel the claim. I now have a claim on my record where they have paid out zero pounds. As a result my premium has gone up from 450 pounds to nearly 1000. Also, don't touch the emergency cover....they couldn't raise a plumber to fix a leak so had to get our own. Awful. Now heading to the insurance Ombudsman to try and get the non claim canceled. AVOID OR REGRET IT!

   Absolutely terrible service, awful.They NEVER call you back when they say they will. State that calls that happened never did, push you around different departments and no one helps. Avoid.

   Not a company to trust. They will deliberately avoid all communication if you claim. Not there when you need them most. AVOID!!!

   The worst possible service we have ever received from any company, using Home Protect as a marketing front. We had storm damage in February 2022, with very large trees falling, crushing a building, damaging roofs and wrecking our garden. Six months later and we still have an unsafe building and not had a penny. Communication has been non existent or appalling. Now considerably out of pocket, Home Protect's disgraceful handling of our claim is having serious consequences on our lives. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY. Find yourself a reputable insurer.
