Had some lovely cocktails for my daughter's 18th birthday. The young waiter was friendly and professional. The cocktails were great - well presented, quality ingredients that blew your head off! Pricey, but good value in happy hour. Atmosphere is darkly lit with interesting decor. Thanks, will come again!

Had an amazing meal and they fully accommodated me with intolerances, staff really lovely, kind and helpful Rosie, Miles and another guy didn’t get his name but very helpful with menus. We ate in the bar area setting and music was great. Food was amazing. Would 100% recommend thanks so much to you all ❤️

An incredible evening at The Long Bar in Guildford! The atmosphere was vibrant yet relaxed — the perfect blend of upscale and welcoming. From the moment I arrived, the energy of the space set the tone for a great night out. A huge shoutout to Rosie and Kate, who truly elevated the experience. Their service was warm, attentive, and effortlessly professional. They knew the menu well, timed everything perfectly, and made me feel genuinely looked after — something you don’t always get, even in high-end spots. Whether you’re stopping in for a drink or settling in for the night, this place delivers. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

This is SUCH a hidden gem in Guildford, impressive drinks selection and stunning cocktails with really informative and friendly staff. It’s a great atmosphere and the service is impeccable - Ben and Joe at the bar were just brilliant all night (and so lovely even after we may have had one too many rosés!) strongly recommend! It would be a great first date place if you’re looking to low key (or high key!) impress. I met a friend for an event so didn’t try the food.

We were staying at The Harbour Hotel as an anniversary treat and so we decided to have a meal here. There was a great atmosphere on arrival, with the experience from start to finish being amazing. I couldn't fault the service at all and the food was absolutely amazing. Our server Finn was also great. I certainly would highly recommended The Long Bar & Grill.

Service was slow. Food was average. Luckily the people I was with were good company. Orders were slowly taken, drinks took ages and the food was a little bit odd, the only grilled item (for a grill!) was steak and it was very fatty. The lamb was in the form of sausages, the chicken was odd. Chips are £5, steaks are £30. Simply overpriced for a very average location.

Came for my birthday meal and didn't have the best experience but the staff turned it around. Ordered the steak and lobster and was promised that there was one left. Unfortunately another staff member had already sold it and we weren't told until later. The staff member did apologise and gave us a round of prosecco. Ordered the Château Briande instead but this didn't arrive until after our wives had finished their food. We were offered 50% discount on our bill. All in all the food was very good, as were the drinks. It's a shame the experience was spoilt but the guy who served us deserves a mention as he went out of his way to help.

A well presented venue, with attentive bar staff who remember your order right down to specifics, and a vast array beverages on offer (it's a long bar after all!). On my first visit the DJ was one of the worst I've ever heard, crashing mismatched beats and cutting songs after 30s, but there was a private party in one section, and he may have been their hire. The DJs since have been excellent. There was an issue with the hostess telling the group I was due to meet that the venue was full, when that was patently untrue. A phone call by a quick-thinking member of the group to someone with more authority soon sorted the issue out.

Lovely decor and initial appearance was appealing, but the music was too loud for comfortable conversation. The tuna steak was well presented, good portion size and tasty, but rather expensive. Side dishes extra.

Charming place with good food and nice service. Gets quite busy in the bar area so I'd recommend booking. The service was very friendly and the staff knowledgeable and helpful. Recommend a visit for a nice spot of food and cocktails
