Canβt praise this surgery enough. Iβve just been for an appointment with Emma Garrett (nurse) for a top-up of vaccinations. The appointment was easy to book, on time, and super efficient. The vaccinations were explained in detail and carried out with minimal fuss. 10/10 for the whole experience.

Moving from this GP surgery was the best decision I ever made. This surgery is a complete disaster. Reception staff are rude, incompetent, and seem entirely untrained. Management is unprofessional and spends more time covering for staff than actually addressing the endless problems. Appointments are near impossible to get, phone lines have absurdly long waits, and if the surgery closes while youβre still on hold, your call is just cut off with no explanation. The level of care is shockingly poor, leaving patients ignored, undervalued, and frustrated. Avoid this surgery at all costs. Honestly, I would give 0 stars if I could.

Overall a very pleasant experience. All the staff are helpful and kind. I had a minor health problem and was contacted through messages and I was able to go and pick up my prescription from the pharmacy the next day.

Dr Bonnie was very professional and thorough with investigating my condition. She explained the treatment and the symptoms very well and followed up a few days later to check the treatment was working. A very good doctor.

I had a bit of an incident during a minor procedure today and Emma and the whole team were incredible. A real testament to what good healthcare should look like and Iβm so glad I was in their care. Thank you so much Oldfield team, youβre awesome!

Thank you to Dr Kate. She has been fantastic at: 1)Accomodating me (last minute appointment despite junior doctors' strike which puts everyone in the nhs under a lot work pressure) 2)Quickly diagnosing my "quinsy" and sending me straight to A&E to be seen by an ENT for urgent care. Great and caring doctor :)

Please avoid if you value your healthcare. I transferred here in 2021 based on Google reviews and my healthcare has taken a massive dive ever since. Cancelled appointment without informing me, rude staff (although the nurses are usually good!), and overall terrible service. One doctor responded to a urinary problem I have where it disrupts my sleep as 'not life disrupting' and another said if I have issues with the lack of care, tough. I was meant to wait two weeks for a blood pressure monitor. They never got back to me. That was six months ago. And I had chased them in between but just complained about a longer than expected waiting list. Finally don't believe their answer phone message. Your call isn't important to them. By far the worst surgery I've ever had unleashed on me. If not for some of the nurses, 0 stars.

0/5 stars. The worst service I have ever received. I recently joined this surgery and unfortunately became very ill not long after. I developed all the symptoms of an internal infection and was given numerous urine tests. Once the doctors had told me it wasnβt an infection and that they had ruled out it wasnβt anything fatal, I was dismissed and had no follow up, even though I continued to feel unwell. The doctors are extremely uncaring and dismissive. I repeatedly called and asked what can be done to help me, no one was bothered or interested in helping me, even though my symptoms were so bad I could not attend university, my part time job or do anything. I was the told by one of the doctor that my symptoms are due to my anxiety, and thatβs making the symptoms upβ¦ i canβt begin to explain how frustrating it is to feel unwell and to be told youβre imagining the symptoms. I was also told that I was put down for referrals multiple times by different doctors, only to find out now that I wasnβt put down for any and that I was being continuously lied to. Iβm appalled by the service Iβve received. They will lie straight to your face and provide you with little to non care or compassion. Avoid surges like this. I will not be using this surgery anymore and if anyone I know in Bath wants to be taken seriously and seen by a doctor, I would not recommend this practice.

Saddened to see the barrage of negative comments..resources are scarce and yes occasionally it has been tricky accessing help timely in my experience but Iβm grateful for Nurse Emma who was patient and comforting during what was a dreaded procedure for me today. Thank you to her and also to the practice team who are likely being stretched to the limit during this challenging time.

For months the appointment process has been broken. The solution the surgery has put in place is to release appointments in two week blocks. If you have the need to have a follow on appointment that the doctor wants you to have ... you CANNOT add it to their diary. THIS SURGARY IS FAILING!
