5* great food all fresh and simple love the fact it was a smaller menu than other places that use frozen and pre packed dishes. Desserts were great too. The staff were spot-on there were plenty of them as well. We never had to wait for anything. They were very very attentive and friendly. Lovely drinks normal London prices. They were very good with my intolerances thanks you will come back soon

This is a big no for me. Absolutely horrendous service. Our waiter clearly did not want to be there and hated his job. We were greeted with a sour face and eye rolls everytime we asked a question. We ordered a beer which came warm and flat, I asked if they had a spicy margarita and he responded with a frown and a no, I then asked if it came with salt on the rim, waiter answered with "if you want. My drink came with no salt and I asked if it would be possible to rectify and the waiter replied with" it's too late now". I was absolutely shocked. Second round and salt was all over the outside of the glass. Food menu is small and not worth the price. Olives were bitter, tomato bread was soggy and overly salted, croquettes were very creamy and bland so we decided to pay our bill and not bother with the mains. Outdoor seating is beautiful especially in the summer, but absolutely not worth going to with the service we received and the overpriced menu.

Lovely Tapas / Spanish vibe to this outside (but covered) location close to the gasometers and Samsung. Great food - Gazpacho to die for/from - and a great fish/veggie/meat at-table grill. Drinks great including cocktails, and several sherries by the glass. Waiter Pedro made so many mistakes that he spontaneously gave us the dessert choices on the house! Good call. Recommended.

A great spot during the spring or summer for outdoor dining. I've never been during the winter time, since it seems like it would be quite cold. Here you can grill your own food! They have a mix of meats, fish, and vegetables to choose from. We also usually get a pitcher (or two) of sangria to go with the meal. Price wise it is a bit pricey, but this is quite normal for the King's Cross area. I would strongly suggest getting a reservation! We got lucky without it a few times.

We came as a group of 5 on a Friday evening and the experience was a little mixed in terms of food and service. The atmosphere was cosy even on a freezing winters day as the outdoor set up is done well with heaters and heated seats. We shared the pan con tomate, padron peppers, ham croquettes and cuttlefish croquettes which were good. You grill your own meat and seafood on the parilla and we got the beef, iberico pork and the seafood selection. The quality of some of the seafood was low - the razor clams were not cleaned properly as dirt was still in it. We also ordered the lobster arroz. They got the arroz order wrong and brought out the meat one and upon realising this only at the table, the waiter said that he would bring the correct one and that "dessert was on us". They came back to say the lobster wasn't good so they could do the arroz with langoustine instead, which we agreed. This took a really long time to come and when it came, it was disappointing. It was underseasoned and didn't have much flavour and it was expensive for what it was. When the bill came out, the full price of the lobster arroz was on it so we had to ask for the bill to be changed to reflect the langoustine not lobster - it went from £60 to £50 which I'm not sure was reflective of the lack of lobster. They also added the two desserts we ordered onto the bill and we had to ask them to honour what they previously said and they only took one of them off. This left a bit of a sour taste in our mouth given how much we had spent but also with no fault of ours.

It is generally hard to find a restaurant in London that has delicious food and excellent service. This place was great in terms of both. The fishes were awesome. We ate mackarel, whole sardines, squid, vegetables and lamb. Everything was great except after you eat you smell like a barbecue. Although the place is partly open, the ventilation could have been better.

The first thing that stands out at Parrillan is the very friendly crew. There is a nice Spanish vibe (friendliness) as soon as you are met by the servers. The restaurant has a lovely decor and the terrace is heated well. There are coal heaters at all tables too. The music was good. The cocktail and drinks menu is limited but there is something for everyone. Do make a prior reservation as the place is usually packed, especially over the weekend. The food menu is limited but we just ate some bar nibbles, so will be back to Parrillan to try their mains soon. Parrillan is highly recommended for a few drinks with friends.

Dropped in here by chance and we were not disappointed. Accommodated us with 2 prams no problem. The service was impeccable. The staff are friendly and passionate about the food. If you visit with children under 10 you can't use the table grills, so we had most of the tapas selection on offer. All the food was great quality. Stand out dish was the baked sheep's cheese, and I'm not a huge cheese fan. Will be back.
