   Good points - friendly staff. Nice breakfasts (in Golf Club Bar - not included in room price). Room large, big bed. Big TV - but a LONG way from the bed! Minus points for room preparation before our arrival. Husband found a false eyelash on the base of his bedside lamp. Toilet could have been cleaner. No soap in dispenser by shower. Other potential problem - tried to phone re: our late arrival, but no answer. Eventually emailed - and got a helpful reply including a phone number to contact on our arrival. But there is no ‘Hotel reception’ as such.

   Great for a short stay. Rooms are large, Clark and very warm with wonderful views, just need a few small extras such a more lamps, electric sockets, decorations such as pictures, etc to make them perfect!

   Lovely place in the grounds of a golf course. The lodge is a short walk from the club house (which is where reception and the bar/restaurant are located), note the Lodge has its own car parking which is handy. They unexpectedly weren't serving food due to a maintenance issue of some sort (these things happen) but one star for service removed because it hadn't occurred to anyone to contact guests to warn us to eat elsewhere, and having to go out again for food was irritating. Otherwise thoroughly recommend if you need to stay in the area.

   You get what you pay for!! Bog basic room. No water bottles, one tea spoon for 2 people not enough milk. Small shower. Cold tile floor in bathroom. But was was clean and tidy. Better signs for check in needed as arrived in dark and couldn't see anything. Last orders for food Was 6.45pm so went into town for Italian which was lovely. There was a party that night no one told us or warned us so the noise was constant.. we were in room 2 right by the main door !! Silly place to put us while party is on. So ment people coming in and out all night long, doors banging people shouting and chatting in corridors..walls are thin and can hear everything. Real shame as could be really nice. But save your money and go premier Inn tbh.

   Very comfortable and spacious room. Spacious bathroom with good shower. Small lobby entrance to room. Entry code for Lodge itself. Good value for the room only. Reception is in the Clubhouse on the opposite side of the car park to the Lodge, so don't unpack till you have your key card! Restaurant/cafe is in the Clubhouse. We found the location good as it is practically on the Jubilee Way, so handy for walkers.

   Bar & kitchen closes at ten to seven, and 6:30 respectively. So not good for me. Room nice, when key card worked one time in 4 night stay, staff tried there best, shame.

   Locked out of accommodation one night as someone inside decided to lock door .Nght manager not on site and only phone number to contact. Maintenance man came out but all this service or non service was very impersonal and stressful. Even on arrival had to use code to enter and another code to access room key from safe. Restaurant also closed about 4 pm. No staff member around to show where clubhouse was. Therefore could not recommend this as a good place to stay. Only positive was large spacious room and hot shower. Complimentary tea and coffee etc very sparse and not renewed.
