Perfect if you have an early flight out of Bristol airport. Nothing fancy in the cabin, great location. Pub / food 5 min walk away. 3 miles from the airport.
Nice clean room, big place. Very comfy beds. Ours was a studio for 3. Included dishwasher, fridge freezer, electric stove, microwaveand a kettle. Next to paddocks and a big outdoor sitting area with picnic tables and indoor common area with tea and coffee making facilities. Only bad bit is that the backyard looks like a dumpyard. Not sure if it belongs to the neighbours but a sore sight. Would definitely recommend.
I read some of the reviews and was very skeptical about staying here, but at the price it was advertised for i thought it was worth a shot for one night before an early flight. Its fine - i stayed in a tiny box room which yes, was quite dated, but did the job for one night. The hot water worked fine. The coffee provided was fine. The small TV worked fine. It was fine. The self check in and check out was absolutely fine. The host responded to a question I sent him very quickly, it was all fine. If you want something more like a standard hotel, this isn't for you. But, if you want a cheap, clean (well, mostly clean, there seemed to be hair at the end of my bed - looked like cat hair) and safe place to stay before a flight, it's worth a go
Decent location, plenty of places to park. Can't rate service because I didn't see a single staff the entire visit. But the process of being given the code and room number was smooth and there was a communal fridge in the dining area. The room I got had a sloped ceiling which meant that I had to bend down to access over half the room, but overall was clean and had basic amenities like kettle and hair dryer. Shower and wifi all worked fine. Decent place if you just need somewhere to sleep for the night.
⭐️ 1 STAR (If I could give zero, I would.) This is, without a doubt, the worst place I have ever stayed in eight years of living in this country. First of all, the room was NOTHING like the one I booked. Forget a double bed — there were four hospital beds and one specifically for disabled people, set up like a bloody hospital ward. It was an absolutely shocking and depressing sight. The hot water in the sink didn’t work. The internet didn’t work. The room stank of damp, mould, and old stale air. And the furniture? Two chairs that looked like they’d either been pulled out of a skip or bought at a charity shop for £1, with change left over. Basically, rubbish fit for a dump. And if that wasn’t enough, there were even plasters stuck to the ceiling. £124 a night for THIS disgrace? Are you kidding me? I wouldn’t even pay £10 for it. I’m furious and disgusted. I left immediately because there was no way I could stay there even one second longer. I want my money back, or my lawyer will be in touch. DO NOT stay here. Trust me: sleeping in your car would be a luxury compared to this dump. Worst. Place. Ever.
Unsafe - room booked for me with a pincode was occupied by a male stranger sleeping in my bed. Took my money for a service not provided. Left stranded in Bristol on my own in the middle of the night, with just voicemail telling you to text and no response from owner.
This is a relatively nice place to stay, though the rooms are much smaller than anticipated. Those of a taller persuasion should probably reconsider. The general stay was comfortable, though I was abruptly and immediately asked to leave at 10am instead of the 10:30am checkout indicated. Probably would book elsewhere if I had to stay local again, but it wasn’t horrific either.
I stopped for work. I had a good stay. No complaints. Only issue I had was the driveway. We had our van stuck on the stones. Thankfully, other contractors who was stopping there were leaving at a similar time and helped out. Big up them.
I stayed here for a night. I checked in at around 10PM. I was appalled to find that despite paying 60 bucks the heating system was not working. We spent the whole night in a cold room. I tried calling the number provided but it was going straight to voicemail mail. In his defence it was around 11’O clock at night. I bought the issue to the attention of the owner the next day to which he replied “That is not possible. The centralised heating system is set to 20 degrees and I am pretty sure that’s not the case.” I didn’t demand for a refund, the owner made no such offer either. The washroom is really tiny and there is barely any space to move. The only positive I can say about this place is that the view from the room is directed to the farm. That’s pretty nice! I couldn’t really enjoy that in a cold room.
