I booked a weekend trip here for my university sports club and I could not recommend The Wing enough!! The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating throughout the booking process and the hostel itself was lovely. Really nice communal spaces and dorms and the hostel was perfectly located at the heart of the city centre. Everyone had the best time and I hope to be back!

Superb! We had double room with separate but private bathroom. Everything was spotless, bathroom was actually gleaming! Super comfy bed, friendly staff and really chilled atmosphere. Location was fantastic, couldn't be better! Was dubious about staying at a "hostel" but needn't have been! Better than a lot of hotels we've stayed in. Will 100% be back!

EXCELLENT!!!! Me Again!! Paul H.... I stayed in the Double Room(104) on this visit a few days ago, and i can honestly say that it was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! Clean, Quiet & the beds, BETTER THAN HOTEL STANDARD!!! As usual free Cereals, Tea, Coffee & Fruit juices for breakfast... Nice friendly staff.... Location to Bus station & Shopping CAN'T BE BEATEN!!! I travel all over the World(And still are) and i can honestly say that BRISTOLWING YMCA is DEFINITELY in the TOP 3 of the best Hostals I've stayed in if not THE BEST!!! I hope on my next visit in May '26 the standards have been upheld!! Thank you. Paul H.....

Second time I’ve stayed in this hostel and I love it! The staff is incredibly lovely and helpful, they make you feel at home. The first time I had a private room and it was perfect. The second time I stayed in a shared room and it was a bit small and awkward having 3 level bunk beds, it was definitely harder to get good sleep but still an overall nice experience.

This was a great hostel to stay in, where we were welcomed at reception by friendly staff! Free squash was available and area is nicely decorated with plants alongside accessories, we were given keys for each person to access the room too. Beds were fine for comfort and we can put curtains over, hangers are sufficient for putting coats up and lockers are strong to keep belongings in. Toilets were clean and hostel came at a decent price, although the shower was quite cold and that room had some damage.

Clean and a great place. The staff are so helpful and go out of their way to make you comfortable. There's is a huge communal area with tv, games, books and kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

I think this is possibly the best hostel I have ever stayed at. They've thought through every detail. The bunk beds are secure so not much rocking. The mattresses are soft and comfortable. The duvet and sheets are cosy and warm. They have a handy shelf by your bed for your phone. I love the curtains on the bunks - sometimes you just want your privacy. The styling of the room is great and even the main light is a warm orange and not too bright if people turn it on during the night. The washrooms are clean and well furnished. And the common area is truly beautiful and well laid out. When I arrived they even said there was free food at 5pm if I wanted it. The staff were excellent. The location is ideal. And the price was only £15. Flawless victory all-round. Perfect 10. Hostel champion of the world.

One of the cheapest yet coolest places to crash for a day or 5 in the middle of the city centre. Very clean and recently refurbished. Beautiful and quirky decor and very friendly staff. There's rooms to cater for everyone and a shared full functioning kitchen. I stayed over the night of my wedding (hired the whole place in addition to the venue next door for our reception) and found it very comfortable and had all I needed.

Good hostel. Toilets and showers were nice and clean. Beds were comfy and clean too. Room could of done with a good dusting and the fire alarm going of intermittently in the middle of the night of slightly annoying but I doubt that happens every night. Would definitely stay here again.

This hostel is situated in the center of Bristol and offers relatively inexpensive rooms in an interesting setting. The hostel is was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The dorms are fairly large with cages to store luggage and curtains on each bed to provide some privacy and to shut out the light if you fancy an early night. The shower rooms are a good size and are modern with very good showers.
