Had a steak at The Beefeater as a bit of a treat (I don’t usually go out for steak), and it was honestly incredible. Cooked just right and super tasty – the chimichurri sauce was next-level good! Really hit the spot. Definitely coming back next time I fancy a proper meal out.
We came in for breakfast greeted with a hostile attitude. Sat down and ordered breakfast mine came out and I had vegetarian sauasages , which were rock solid you couldn’t even put a knife through it , I had a beard hair in my eggs and a long brown hair in the beans honestly I know this can happen but the man cooking the food didn’t have a beard net on . Over all the food wasn’t cooked greatly and wasn’t a good service from the foh.
Stopped in here with my family ( 2 adults, 2 teenagers and a 10 year old). Food was fine and what you would expect from a Beefeater. The staff were very friendly and service was great if a little slow. Overall we had a really enjoyable evening.
Stayed a couple of nights on business. Very friendly staff. Service a little slow at times but food was nice and very reasonably priced. Lovely beer garden. *Update- typically visit in the summer and enjoy the beer garden, but it's mid January and far too cold to sit outside. It's a nice pub with okay food. Service is a little slow, with the exception of breakfast that is served without delay.
Delicious cooked breakfast and selection of continental for vegans. Friendly and helpful staff. Great value for money, all you can eat for £9.99. Will absolutely return!
Took my mother for lunch here on 2nd June. As it was Bank Holiday we aniticipated it being busy and it was but the food was spot on, really tasty and decent portions and the staff (although visibly understaffed so very busy) were polite, attentive as much as they could be and really friendly. I'll definitely eat here again and I'd certainly recommend and they do some really good deals at lunchtime too. Have eaten here twice since and it's been nothing less than fab - the food is such good value for money with the deals and the staff are just lovely!
Been staying in the Premier Inn next door had a meal deal in there most nights all the meals I had are amazing Great service from the staff,. My fillet steaks was delicious and cooked perfectly. Highly recommended!

Basic Pub grub! I visited the Beefeater this week for lunch, I had the fish n chips from the lunch menu for £5, for the price it was ok, but the chips could have been cooked a bit more, they were still a bit hard inside and the fish had way to much batter, and only a little bit of fish inside, but it was OK for the price. I would say it's a nice place to go with the family to hang out especially if u have young kids, but don't expect too much of the food or the service! The outside area was nice and got a lot of sun, and they also had sun umbrella's if you wanted shade. the inside of the restaurant seemed clean. I wanted to try a dessert but after being disappointed by my main I never, plus the staff were not that welcoming. the white wine was basic, but ok.
