Own private room with wardrobe, bed, sink, kettle, furniture. Communal areas of kitchen, bathroom, corridors and a reading room are regularly cleaned and maintained by staff e.g. Tina, Sophia and Kaja. Location of Clifton is a cultural area with nearby shops including Sainsburys, Boots, Waitrose. Only a short journey to city centre and nearby are the other South West of England resorts. Front office team, such as Marta, ensure secure bookings.

Room was cold, heating was on only couple of times a day. Bed has no board and was moving, there was no bed side tables . There was bad odour in the kitchen from the out of date food

Stayed here for 2 months over summer, fantastic location, great value for short term accommodation. Thank you so much to the entire short lets team Esther, Jade, Lindsey, Marta, Charlie, Sarah, Jake who helped with the booking process and were fantastic throughout. The housekeeping manager for the property Ania also was amazing, and the housekeepers who come in to clean the communal spaces did a fantastic job but I didn’t catch any names. Thanks so much CSL, a great experience!

A great place to stay! This property is located just a 10–15 minute walk from the city center, making it very convenient. The stay was hassle-free, no landlord disturbances and no issues with late check-in. Overall, it’s a comfortable and pleasant place in a nice location. There's a good pub with food located just behind the house — a great spot for a couple or singles.

Cost friendly, common areas are not clean. Heating is not properly working in their 2, Oakfield Place. But St Paul's Road accommodation heating is better. If its a long stay bed lines are not changed by them. Supportive and understanding staff.

A disgusting and low-key experience. I stayed here for 3 months and I was met with nothing but freaks and freezing cold temperatures. I left lonely and isolated during my stay, and this was not helped by the stupid sensory light system! I get you’re trying to save money, but you have managed to kill every vibe possible with this short cutting scam of a kitchen. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a place to stay in Clifton, as this is a place that will turn you insane.

when booking this, I knew it would be more like a house share than a vacation rental so kept that in mind during my stay. I was in 4 westbourne place and stayed for 13 nights, and my room was upgraded for free to a large double which was great. the room itself was nice and spacious however it had a stain on the ceiling which looked like it may have been from previous water damage. the window in the bedroom is limited from opening very far meaning that it was incredibly hot at all times, and noticeably hotter than the temperature in the rest of the building. I was on the second floor and there was a floor above me who were quite noisy at times overnight in terms of hearing banging etc but as Id expected a shared house this comes with the territory really. from what I could see there was 1 shower across 7 rooms and an additional toilet further downstairs. I didn't have to queue at all during my stay but could see that being an issue if lots of people were staying in the property. the bathroom was cleaned fairly regularly however there was a fair amount of mould on the ceiling. the shared kitchen and washing facilities were good and the property was in a good location for getting into town, but for over £400 I'd expect to be able to manage the room temperature and not see mould in the property. as a night by night price it's fairly cheap but given it markets as short lets I do think it's expensive in that sense

Clifton Short Lets is not a place for tourists. The larger rooms with kitchenettes are poorly equipped and the WiFi was slow to the point that it couldn’t be used. Me and my partner only stayed one night, out of the eight planned, due to what we believed to be mould. The first room we were given was located in the basement and had a distinct smell as well as poor facilities. For example, the window frame was rotting and draughty. Grease left on the kitchenette surfaces, as well as used review cards also indicated that the room hadn’t been looked at properly before our arrival. After being informed of these issues, a member of staff came down to have a look as well as offer a change of room. The new room had just been cleaned when we arrived which masked the smell we addressed in the previous room, it was soon noticeable again. We decided not to continue our stay at the Short Let due to these issues. However, the staff were friendly and beyond helpful. They did their very best to offer other solutions and after our departure they agreed to refund us for the remaining nights which was a nice surprise. If you’re looking for a temporary accommodation in Bristol, this is a good place for you but as a tourist I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

I stayed they for a couple of months while looking for more permanent accommodation having just got a job in Bristol. I stayed in two of the large rooms during my stay. Although they were slightly different shapes and had some different furniture, they were both very clean and a good size. The communal areas were also clean and well maintained considering the number of people using it. The self-check in was very convenient as I was arriving late on a Sunday and didn't have to worry about being late. I found all the staff were helpful and friendly when I needed to contact them. Overall It was a great place to stay and gave a great introduction to the city of Bristol with most of the major sights, good bars and restaurants within walking distance.
