Just been to collect my family medication. It was all ready. The assistant was pleasant and couldn’t do enough for me. I feel like it’s really changed from the last time I was there.
ZERO STARS. This pharmacy is extremely dangerous to the public , it should be reported to the relevant authorities immediately without fail. I have been a customer here for many years and I am appalled at the situation that the staff recently have been facing. Due to recent closures in the afternoons , I asked why the situation was happening and was told that the company were not replacing the qualified staff and the remainder of staff have left yesterday. Apparently , there are no longer any qualified staff to dispense medications and this is extremely unsafe for the public. Please be very careful if you need any medications and redirect your prescriptions elsewhere urgently. 1
Been in today to collect my scrips and its like a new pharmacy,really tidy ,well stocked and helpful staff. Got my scrips straight away and the atmosphere felt welcoming too,definately much improved.
Excellent experience on my last visit, significantly improved from a few months ago. Lots of new faces so it appears that there has been a significant change and for the better it appears! Glad that our local pharmacy is on the up!
I would hate to see this pharmacy close because we really need a neighbourhood pharmacy but it's not looking pretty for them. They can't source many basic medications, the problem extends to generics, "over the counter" medicines and certain products like a specific toothpaste they used to stock but can no longer source. I've experienced once, myself, and witnessed twice for other customers where they'd told a customer to come back the next day for a prescription and when that customer returns the next day (when I've been there) they have not filled it and cannot find the script. I don't live in this pharmacy, naturally, so if I've experienced it once and witnessed it twice that's pretty startling; how many times does this happen?! I really hope they can turn it around because they do mean well and they're often (unfortunately not always) apologetic. I wonder if the NHS can help them reorganise? I'm sure they'd recognise a need for a neighbourhood pharmacy here.
A nice local pharmacy but some of the staff are awful - really rude. One person is only pleasant if the boss is in the shop, which tells you everything! It's such a shame as other staff are lovely - it just depends who's there when you go in.
Lovely staff, I came to this pharmacy after having trouble with a prescription, the pharmacist could not have been more helpful, friendly and welcoming, she listened to me and I understood the issue. Turning a bad day into a good one, thank you!
Dispenses cheaper alternatives to most drugs - problematic when on lifetime medications as you get different brands frequently. When queried or requests are made for the same brand of drug the surly faced pharmacist disputes it's the same and refuses to source the brand you want/need. A pharmacy definitely more about revenue margin than healthcare of humans.
I now go out of my way to visit this pharmacy over my local one (and where possible over my GP who takes forever to get an appointment !) due to the excellent service given by the pharmacist and staff at Wellsway pharmacy. Careful, thorough, and quick to understand exactly what it is I/my children are struggling with, and have excellent knowledge of how to help, they also seem to be a thoroughly caring bunch. The staff have good 'bedside manner' to go alongside ample knowledge about the different meds sold. I'm so thankful for this service. The pharmacist is also happy to help over the phone, again giving above and beyond support and letting me know to call back any time if I have other questions regarding the meds I'm taking.
Excellent service! When I recently handed in a prescription which was not available the pharmacist phoned my GP for an alternative. She then ordered it in for the next day and had it delivered to my place of work that morning! Friendly approacable professional staff. Highly recommended
