   What a terrible experience. I have never experienced anything quite like it. After having my prescription request for over two weeks, I was given half of my items. I was assured that my life dependent insulin would be with them after a day or two and to come back. Fast forward a week and I return to collect the insulin and was told that they still do not have it. When asked what I should do I was met with a blank stare. Disappointed I leave the pharmacy only to receive a call from the manager moments later explaining that I was rude to his member of staff and that I had made her cry. I can assure you I was nothing but civil and the unwillingness to try and offer any advice and lack of empathy shown to my situation was far ruder than my outward display of disappointment. I did not raise my voice, swear, and have genuinely been rattling my brain as to how anything I did could be perceived as rude. I then went into the pharmacy to continue the conversation and was then told that they shouldn’t have promised me my prescription as Jhoots have been having issues attaining the medicine and cannot offer any time frame as to when they will have it. I contacted my GP and they explained that as they released some of the prescription, I would now have to put in a new request and wait for this to be approved. This meaning I have to now go an additional day without it. This is solely on Jhoots who I have been informed shouldn’t have released only part of the prescription as it causes issues like this. Just to be clear, when I asked what I said or did to offend the dispenser - I was met with a blank stare and was not offered any explanation. He was more than happy to tell me over the phone how wrong I was. The GP sounded exhausted when I explained that I was taking about Jhoots. A redo top to bottom of their practices is needed. And perhaps people who are equipped to deal with reasonable questions about life saving medicine.

   I don’t normally post reviews however I’m really disappointed with the Jhoots pharmacy in Weston. I moved pharmacy’s from newbridge as a lovely staff member told me they have excellent communication with their patients if they cannot get the medication in etc. I ordered my ADHD medication at the end of April. Thankfully I had enough to last the month. I could not get hold of anyone last week when phoned multiple times. Today I managed to get hold of them. Turns out they do not have messaging service. They not once reached out to me to say they could not get my medication in. Now the prescription is expired! Definitely moving back to the newbridge one as they are far better. Yes I should have chased up my medication sooner but as any other human being especially with ADHD, I forgot and when I did remember I could not get hold of anyone!!

   I have nothing but praise for Jhoots. Since they have taken over the pharmacy in Weston high street I have had no problems in getting my prescriptions (unlike previously when it was boots). The pharmacist is really helpful and friendly.
