   Was trying to buy Anusol and it says buy one and get another one half price. I took 2 of them but was charged full price for them and when i challenged it i was told that it is normal price on their system so why advertise it as buy 1 and get a second one half price. This is just false advertisement and they are just stealing customers money. Well dissapointed with the service that they give in the Boots bradley stoke as other Boots provide a much better service . Their attitude and customer service does sucks.

   Worst pharmacists ever, they didn’t want to sell me a normal box of aspirin 75mg, saying it needed a prescription while all others boots pharmacies do without it, cause it is not required. I even told them I am pregnant and needed cause part of my therapy since considered at risk, showing them my Maternity Exemption Certificate and they still refused. On another occasion they did exactly the same, they refused to sell a normal 50 tables garlic vitamins for my mother blood’s pressure, saying they needed a prescription from the doctor. An absolute disgrace! I contacted boots customer service immediately and no one got back to me so far. An absolute joke!

   Tonight at 5.30pm I wanted to buy some goldeneye cream because I have an eye infection. The employee refused to sell it to me. He told me to put a compress on my eyes. I went to another pharmacy where I was able to buy the cream.

   This shop used to be ok, but over the last few months everything seems to have gone to pieces. Regarding prescriptions, there’s now a sign up saying to allow 7 days for repeat meds! (and they don’t even contact you to advise they’re ready) - whereas Tesco’s pharmacy a few yards away always texts you the same day or at the latest the day after they get the order. Plus the staff there are efficient and can find your prescription in moments. I switched my designated pharmacy a month or two ago and have not regretted it for a moment, Also one of the shop assistants at Boots excelled herself today - my wife wanted a personal aid, checked on the internet that it was in stock there, and went in to buy it. She couldn’t find it on the shelves and asked, only to be told categorically that it wasn’t in stock and that it ‘said so on line’. It wasn’t until the assistant finally let my wife see what was on her screen, presumably to ‘prove’ who was right, that it had to be pointed out to her she’d selected the wrong product. Eventually after a further wait, the right one was found, well hidden somewhere in the shop. No apology given whatsoever. And this is just one example of the poorly-trained and unhelpful staff they now employ.

   Always in Boots, the shelves are in a tidy state, with the relevant items easily found. The staff too are always so polite and helpful. Shopping in Boots, I find, is a very pleasant experience.

   Brilliant shop, has a pharmacy and opticians within the store. Lots of cosmetic counters to choose from. Have great value for money products & a fab Christmas shop with lots of gifts for everyone's pocket. Would definitely recommend.
