   Expect a hostile vibe. Some bald guy who seemed to work there (but wasn’t actually behind the bar) unexpectedly marched over to us, rudely interrupted our conversation and demanded to speak to one of my friends “IN PRIVATE”. An interrogation then followed as to who we were, what we were doing etc. A group of gay guys in our 30s/40s who’d all bought drinks and just come over from Old Castle Green. Customers shouldn’t have to deal with this.

   been there a couple times. On one occasion a crossdresser/trans served me and was rude. dirty look and disrespectful attitude. I drank my drink and left, won't be back and the drink was really expensive for a pint. £5.85

   Makes a lot of noise at late night with strong bass. I hope they can be more considerate. People with heart issues are affected by this. Please don’t let your happiness come at the cost of someone else’s suffering.

   Went on a Friday and wasn't sure what to expect as I hadn't been in a couple of years. Dreary music, female singers wailing etc. Efficient but not particularly friendly staff. Tried talking to a few other people there but they were polite enough but didn't want to engage in a simple conversation. Had one drink and didn't stay for another. Made me feel sad about Bristol's gay scene.

   A good night out and fairly priced. Music taste can be a hit and miss depending on the DJ. As it is a small venue it can get overcrowded very quickly and seating is very limited, but the ideal bar to start the night before heading to a bigger venue like a club.

   Visited this bar for the first time. Although a small venue we had a great night. Nice and helpful bar staff. Quick service. Brilliant atmosphere good music . No attitudes great vibe. Definitely worth a visit.
