   This was my first visit to Yo Sushi for lunch, and unfortunately the experience did not meet my expectations. I ordered sushi, katsu chicken curry, chicken yakitori, and Yo fries. The food was okay. Most items, except for the curry, arrived lukewarm and were average in quality. A more concerning issue was the presence of several small flies around my seating area, which seemed to originate from the kitchen. This significantly affected my comfort during the meal, and in hindsight I would have preferred to dine elsewhere. That said, the service provided was polite and satisfactory. I won’t be rushing back to eat here

   Have been coming to Yo Sushi for years, always rate the food quality at their Leicester store. Staff are friendly and food comes fast. Recently brought back random food on the conveyor belts which enhances the experience. Yo Sushi is on the expensive side however being able to have several smaller plates of different dishes is amazing. Would recommend for special events/every now and then.

   Enjoying the meat free chicken katsu curry, glad it's available as the tofu version was removed and only pumpkin was on for ages. Polite staff. Knocked one star off as not up to the normal clean standards.

   The food was mediocre. For example, we ordered the beef teriyaki. It had absolutely no flavor and tasted a bit burnt. The only saving grace were the Yo Fires. They were amazing. The environment felt clean and well maintained but the service felt slow. Everything seemed to take ages to get to us. Of course, we understand there is a bit of a shortage of staff right now which I am taking into account because I cannot fault the staffs professionalism. No one was moving slow or taking their time. I could see everyone was moving with purpose to provide the best service. However, when you go to a restaurant, you go for food and an experience. The flavor of the food wasn’t there, but the staffs work ethic was great, which is why I am only giving three stars. And Yo! should be grateful to their team for such a ‘high’ score.
